She reminds me sm of Jessica. They both wanted to help, but they caused problems instead. Jessica wanted to help Blonie with her film to make her happy, and Jiu wanted to become a Xuagrei to help others to understand and make her mom proud. Jessica scared everyone and unintentionally harmed them when they were fighting her "monsters" , Jiu wanted to make sure they all survived and got what they wanted by turning them onto Lushus. Though Blonie was Jessica's support system who didn't immediately turned on her compared to the villagers even though it was clear Jiu was trying to correct what she had done wrong. Nice video :)

@@silverhawkscape2677 Nope,each Aeon is an exaggeration of what they ensemble,(spoilers on this one) Xipe for example focuses Harmony so badly that yeah...everyone was trapped in a dream,and don't get me started on the other Aeons especially the Destruction one.

A little fact that in the Chinese server, this is voted as the worst story event since they make JiuNiangzi got misunderstood a lot unless you read the character event and the storyline seemed rush, not fulfilling, i read that bluepoch fired the whole team who was responsible writting the story line for this event.

I actually thought this one was cute. I’m not surprised people were upset with them getting mad at Jiu but, tho unintentional, she kinda did mess up bad and she needed to be scolded 😭. That’s why it made sense to me. However, the story didn’t seem rushed to me at all. The pacing from A to B seemed pretty fair for an event. I also suppose people felt it wasn’t as fulfilling because it ended with a lot of questions. Where is Jiu? How is this connected to Vertin? But that’s what leaves the story up to interpretation. Maybe I just didn’t notice but the story seemed fine to me. Hope they didn’t actually fire the writers tho 🥲 I thought it was a cute story.

@@comfycheko same with me! though i honestly thought the story can be more, i actually still like it in a way, sure, she made a REALLY bad mistake but she tried to make up to it! and im glad that the ending they didnt let her live with the people like nothing happened. :)

I think 1.1, 1.5 and 1.6 were considered worst/weakest in the CN, and 1.6 was understandable since this is a Chinese New Year patch so they were expecting a main story level at least, but that didn't meet their expectations. I think the 1.5 writers were also fired, but I'm not too sure about it 😅

It’s probably not a connection, but I find it interesting how similar Bessmert & Yenisei are to Vertin & Sonetto. It’s kind of like looking at V & S through a different lens, since Bessmert has a resemblance to Vertin, & Yeni shares some qualities with Sone. It could be a coincidence and im looking too deep into it, but I still think it’s a very nice detail intentional or not.

Did I completely miss the fact that Jiu Niangzi herself is a Lushu 😭😭😭😭😭 I'm so upset, I missed that. I was so confused this story. I've been playing this game almost since launch, but the writing style can be too hard to follow, and I don't think it's the translation, it's my own reading comprehension. Which sucks. Why the fuck did I bother paying tens of thousands of dollars for college. Anyone else struggling? It would help if I knew I'm not alone
