I found your channel about a week ago looking at videos about van life, and I've been making my way through your videos. You put so much creativity and thoughtfulness into the filming and editing and storytelling, and I can tell that each video is something you worked really passionately on. Beautiful job. The idea of life being a library, of which art is the curator, is a wonderful thought. Like you talked about in one of your other videos, life is so packed with emotion and memories that the only way we can possibly preserve all of it is by associating it with something like art, whether we see it, listen to it, or make it ourselves. There's a quote that says "I may not remember all the books I've read any more than all the meals I've eaten, but even so they have made me." I think art can be like an unexpected scent that brings back the memory of a meal, and the emotions around what you were eating, and who you were eating with. Anyway Shaffer, if you read this, well done bringing out those feelings with your videos, and keep up the fantastic work!

If you really listen to it purposefully, at two minutes in it's like you can suddenly see all of the stars in entire sky at the same time. It took me probably a decade or more before I stopped noticing something new every time I listened to that song.

New sub and I am really enjoying your videos! My experience with piano is very similar. Music has always moved me and when I heard a song called "Endless Time," (Roberto Cacciapaglia) I knew I had to learn piano. I had to create the story that is conveyed in that song. I now have a keyboard and my little sister gave me my first lesson!
