At the start of this year, I set out to find the most comfortable everyday sneaker, testing shoes from top brands like Nike, Adidas, On Cloud, Hoka, New Balance, and Asics. After months of trials, I’ve finally landed on a standout: the brand-new Adidas Evo SL. Released in limited quantities on October 29th, this highly anticipated sneaker sold out instantly, with another drop set for December 12th.
The Evo SL features Adidas’ premium Lightstrike Pro cushioning, offering a light, responsive, and comfortable experience on par with Nike’s ZoomX. Though technically a ‘running shoe,’ Adidas markets the Evo SL as a lifestyle sneaker, making it ideal for both daily activities and training. With features like a wide toe box, great breathability, and soft ankle padding, these shoes excel in comfort and versatility. At $150, they’re priced competitively against options like the Nike Pegasus 41, but feel significantly more premium.
My brother and I were fans of Nike’s Invincible Run 3 and Pegasus 41, but these Adidas Evo SLs offer a balance of max cushioning, comfort, and style. The formulation of LSP midsole is different from the top tier 500 buck evo . This is the older one found on the takumi and pro 3 .

Not the same cushioning, the lsp in the evol sl is the same as the standard lsp found in the takumi sen and adios pro, the adios evo pro has a different manufacturing process

Those outsoles dont wear that fast. They are continental outsoles. And they are flat. Spiked outsole tend to shear more often thus wearing out quicker

They’re solid running shoes but i found 1080v14s more comfortable for everyday & the Evo SLs are lighter, softer & better as a casual crossover

It isn’t lacking at all lol. All the wear points are covered in Continental rubber, which is arguable the best and one of the most durable rubbers on the market

1. They use a different formulation of LSP than the EVO 2. I would not wear these as a lifestyle shoe lol too unstable. Yes I have a pair.

@@who4108 it’s not for both … let me explain this.. this foam it’s for racing type of thing. The geometry it’s designed for better propulsion starting at 60% lengths of this shoe. It’s a fast shoes. It’s designed for running. You want a life style shoes, go for ultra boosts. But If you want for something else, it ok, but it’s not for both. And the description says “everyday sneakers “

@ yes, that’s a fact, some editor included or “not” but when you get this shoes, you will notice if you go to slow pace, the rocket geometry of this shoe going to push you at faster paces. Also you see the outsole is very thiner for light weight.

Tried the new balance 9060's from the top 10 list they were TERRIBLE compared to the foam runners I have, After that I lost all trust in your comfortable ratings. (comment below if anyone else has experienced the same I would like to know if anyone has found a pair hes recommended comfortable that actually were)
