What Makes Anon Wavecel Helmets So Safe?

hey there I had a TBI snowboarding 2 years ago, I have been going back and forth between the anon merak wavecell and Smith Nexus, Smith reckons their technology is better with the new Koroyd technology and provides better protection. Can you let me know your thoughts please? I want the best protection.

Both technologies are way safer than standard closed cell foam constructions but the Wavecel does have 2 advantages. While both Wavecel and Koroyd give crumple protection and rotational trauma protection the Wavecel also has the "flex" protection for lower impacts. This helps prolong the life of the helmet while still offering protection. Also the rotational protection is built into the Wavecel without having to add the extra MIPS layer.
