I did fight clubs in ds 3 before they made it a play mode. Host a server get all the team summons and invaders you can and have em Duke it out one on one and if anybody tried to jump in the whole group focused them. It was amazing as the whole thing was immensely fun and fully based on honor and if anybody broke a rule we got to punish them ourselves for instant gratification. I've also seen enough bad stuff irl that the world of souls borne has always been a reprieve

Another thing that turns me off of the multiplayer is how these same players can message you afterwards. On Facebook Messenger people need to be given permission after sending a first message. Which I think is a good thing to have. It lets you know whether or not you should engage with them. A lot of angry players of these games say real nasty vitriol as a first message, ask the troll channels who prank such players. Regardless being able to avoid an angry stranger harassing you outside of the game would definitely help a lot. To me a player should only be allowed to message you if they are given permission like in Messenger and/or if they're in your friends list. I myself also know I suck and don't want to run into the types of players who act like they just got off a fresh round of LoL. So I'll avoid the multiplayer for my own sake. I do appreciate this video tho, as always.

What are you talking about? Multiplayer in souls games don't show usernames and don't have any comunication tools. How would someone message you afterwords?

I could be mistaken because of video editing, but on the troll videos for Dark Souls it looked like they could message you after. Look at the ones where they state that they got rage messages.

Ah, ok then. Either way I still don't plan on joining in on the pvp stuff if I ever pick up Dark Souls again. I have other reasons that were already stated besides not being keen on a feature that apparently only happens in a console I don't play on.

Update: I like the vid! While I still dislike the pvp in these games I can see why someone would like it now I mostly dislike it because I feel the fact someone can just have better stats than you and pop in while you're trying to get something else done makes it frustrating, especially when the rest of the game is slow and methodical and the PVP has a fast and desperate feeling

Honestly, pvp in dark soul just feel like extra unwanted challenge and nothing else. No amount of tweaking is going to change that for me. Sorry buddy.
