It's crazy how much you can adapt to the higher difficulties. Eventually you stop seeing individual enemies and see the huge swarm as a single target. So while there might be 2 groups of 200 small enemies each, and 3 factory striders. All I see is five large targets.

Force yourself you play 7+ consistently and 6 and lower feels like training mode. Only two real skill checks are from moving from 3 to 4, as 4 is the introduction of "you must swap weapons to fight some enemies." Other skill check is at 7, when you "must use stratagems or coordinated attack with heavy support weapons to defeat some enemies. " 8 and 9 are generally the same as 7, just more of it. Some bad conditions are added, but its essentially the same. Difficulty slider in this game actually works. Its all training for 9

everyoner else having a ww4 experience in helldivers meanwhile theres the one guy whose having the most relaxing jog thru the country side

If you want regular plus chargers look at four if you want to test your wits against the spewers and chargers and stalkers go to five or six, if you want Titans best believe it's 6 7 and up. This also helps navigating the right loadout because sometimes I noticed people are sometimes overpowered on a lower difficulty when they don't need to be
