I just realized that I have underestimated the V6 Camaro by giving it less HP than it actually has) The correct numbers are 335 HP and 284 lb-ft of torque, which proves again how capable this engine and platform really is!

I own a 3LT RS V6 6 speed. The capabilities of the car are amazing. I’ve never had more confidence in corners, highway, etc. Super comfortable highway cruiser and daily driver. Great vehicle.

Excellent video. For 95% of the driving population the V6 is the perfect choice. Maybe the V8 has bragging rights but the V6 is the more logical choice for typical driving. The V6 runs on regular gas too as opposed to the V8 which requires premium gas. Premium gas is $0.80 to $1.00 per gallon higher, so in time, that adds up. Saving $15 every time you fill up is a nice perk.

Facts gas went way up in March and premium here is a $1.10 extra charge, if I still had my vette I’d be raging right now for gas lol, about to get a 2018 2LT Camaro though as I’ve realized it’s all I need for daily driving + has all the nice amenities that the 2SS has. Can’t wait

I have a 2017 camaro v6. I found it was just easier to back the car into any parking spot, and when you set your mirrors right it no worse than being in a Lambo visibility wise.

I had a v6 and I have a ss now I would say they are both fun but the power are completely different the torq is just so different in the ss border line scary where with the v6 absolute confidence pushing it with no fear but for the people who want that true camaro feel get the ss American muscle

The engine has a cylinder deactivation feature when you cruise on highway, so it helps with fuel economy.

Only a difference of 3 mpg between the 3.6 and the 6.2. I completely disagree. With cylinder deactivation, on the highway the 6.2L does pretty well. Especially with the LT1 6.2s now, where you opt to have the same performance as the SS but with not as many bells and whistles ex. Leather seats, track mode. I daily drove my 6.2 LT1. All of the camaros are great cars, I'm not hating on V6 or the 4 bangers by any means, the best bargain Camaro when we're talking about HP/$ the LT1 6.2 is the best bang for you buck. I leased a 1LT for a bit, I liked it but wanted more power, upgraded to the LT1 and daily drove it this past year, very happy with my decision. Good colour, black is the way to go for sure!

Out of my experience, the V8 Camaro feels heavy and a little numb when you drive it daily in the city at the speed limit, this is where the V6 feels more nimble and responsive. And it wasn't until I reached a tight mountain road in West Virginia where the Camaro SS came to life and I was shocked at how sharp and agile it is. As far as gas goes, you'll have to pump premium in the V8 compared to V6.

Camaro SS is undeniably faster, just like the Kia sting might be quicker off the line due to the tourque coming from the turbos. The reason Camaro RS is better is the same reason the Mazda Miata is a better drivers car than most of the stuff on the market until you start to pay 60K and up. Camaro SS has very high performance limits and there is no freaking way you can experience it's full potential on city streets. Racing others in a straight line is only a small fraction of what it's capable of. And don't forget that all Camaros ride on the same chassis which means that, I hardly believe that a Kia Stinger GT will be a able to keep up with a Camaro RS with 1le package in autocross or tight racing track.

I smoke a stinger the other day I believe the camaro I got from the dealership is a tune one I barely touch the pedal an it take off I know for sure I’m doing more then 330
