I initially had my doubts about all the hype when Bielsa came to Leeds, everyone seemed to be blowing smoke up his arse and I'd never even heard of the bloke, how good could he be? But no one can deny what he's done to Leeds united over the last 2 seasons. He took a mid to lower table team, full of bang average players, to the brink of promotion last season, improved almost every player in the team significantly and has Leeds sat atop the table, 9 points clear (at the time of writing) this season. Leeds are playing some of the most exciting and domineering football ever seen at the club. We pretty much dominate every team we play at the moment, even when we lose and it gives that feeling that no matter what the scoreline is, Leeds fans always feel confident that they're never completely out of a game. We look dangerous on every attack. I don't know what the man brings with him but it's bloody good stuff.

Marcelo Bielsa (and not waiting to doing it) created a philosophy itself, that it's called in Argentina _"Bielsismo"_ (note the "ismo" at the end, as in english would be Bielsism). This philosophy is not focus on the match result itself, or in the existencilism (of you know the classic one of "the imporant is the winning not the way you win") Bielsa philosophy is really against this, therefore he win many "enemies" (detractors) back there in Argentina, (which mostly is fault of the football jornalist there, where in argentina are mostly Boca Supporters, and Boca is well known here for being a club that only care about the result, and not about showing a good football or strategy), also because the 2002 WC result, that where not clearly his fault, as I said, football jornalist in Argentina pressured him to call Caniggia (which was too old), actually his only mistake was not to call a sustitute for Ayala, which was a really key defender in Argentina, and in Bielsa system and who got injured during the world cup. Even thought 2002 Argentina play the best football ever, associated, pressing, it was excellent an really didn't deserve lost against england (who play that match mostly defending the result), argentina corner that england from minute 1, but striker wasn't luckely that day, and Ayala wasn't in the defense, which mean party for Michael Owen speed. Even so many people got interested in Bielsa beatifull football system 3-3-1-3 (this system means you can have the mayority of footall players in defense, middle and attack, is based on ball control, passing, and pressing when you don't have the ball, but it requeris good physics condition for the players). It view on football and philosophy inspired many football players that later become coaches not just in Argentina (Sampaoli, Pep Guardiola, "Tata" Martino, between the ones i can remember now). Besides he's unlucky, and didn't win many thropies, he's still one of the best football coaches of the XXI Century for sure.
