Great video. The phrase “smell the match-day air” instantly took me back to Selhurst Park in South London in the mid’60s. No such air pollution around Easter Road these days but the excitement and anticipation in those minutes leading up to kickoff never dies.

The earliest memories i have is going to Motherwell games with my dad and being lifted over the turnstiles to go watch my favourite players play. The long road trips to Aberdeen and Dundee excited about what the score might be. Experiencing the highs and the lows of my little hometown club with unwavering support. I get made fun of for the team i support and take alot of teasing from it, but to me i dont care what others think because its more than just the club to me. Its what brought me and my dad closer together. I really do miss match days

First of all, for Christmas I give my grandson child the winning Scotland football shirt 2020. I find very interesting the glorious history of Scotland, the pride and the strong national identity of its people, its fantastic and unsurpassable landscapes and castles (I was in Perthshhire in October and it was magical as always), I am very excited by the unique sound of the bagpipes and especially his anthem Flowers of Scotland and The Brave, I really like the social colors of the national uniform (dark blue is my all time favorite color), the emblem with the rampant lion. To all this I add that my idol as a child has always been the legend Graeme Souness to whom we Sampdoria fans are very fond. Also Kenny Dalglish has been a football legend! In Espana 1982 as a child I was already rooting for Scotland even before Italy. My dream is to be able to attend the old firm as well as a game of the Scottish national football and rugby team. Scotland will make a great European because it has real and good warriors players. Come on Scotland always!

@@ChesterPerry187 Passion isn’t all about jumping like loonies to choreographed chants, waving flares or pre-arranged street fights. Sometimes it is about hundreds of miles of round trips from Dingwall, Dundee or Dumfries on a wet, miserable Tuesday in January to watch your team get 5 pumped past them, not getting home until 1am, getting up for work the next day to receive a slagging and looking forward to doing it all over again in a few day’s time at the next match. That’s passion. That’s the life-blood of football. The fact that thousand of Scottish football fans do this year in year out knowing full-well their team hasn’t a sniff at the title astounds me. Most of these clubs don't play in the top flight in Scotland so most aren't recognised outside of Scotland. Hope this helps

Arbroath was one. Gayfield Park is it? I was up there on holiday with a mate from our naughty boys boarding school, with his sort of adoptive family, I was there on a day Scotland were playing England, told there was usually bother in town with English marines etcetera, I got oil on my yellow espadrilles on the beach, (it was 87, I was 16) being chuffed at winning a few quid on pontoon on one of the sea front arcades. I had a good nose in the ground, sadly,y no game on whilst I was there, it was summer. I remember cycling past the Pringle factory. 🙂
