I do love the map options to play with the power delivery output. that can win races for sure. you could do your own testing and dial In maps for each different track location for the best handling at each track. but the Suzuki hasn't chaged much which means its set in stone and probably much cheaper to fix as i think this Yamaha has 2 exhaust pipes coming from the cylinder which means dual over head cam which would explain the extra long pulling gears and would also mean double the parts and double the price to fix. but i could be wrong it may only be a single cam i cant tell.? you need to elaborate more detail on the Yamaha engine design. i appreciate that it goes fast and that you like the obvious stuff but give me some detail about the engine? im gonna buy the Suzuki it hasn't changed . Yamaha chaged too much its more like you are testing at the buyers expense lol

Takes an awful lot to make me want to ride anything other than my 3002t that has a kit and tons of hours of testing and tuning. The bike is DIALED. This yamaha got me back into a 4t. I had a 21.5 rockstar edition. It was great. Not as good as my 2 stroke. I was still faster. Stock yamaha compared to highly modified 3002t….. well. Let’s just say it’s not even fair. Stock motor is as good as my modified highly 2t. It probably makes less hp than the 2t but it lays the power down and delivers it in a manner that is impeccable. Suspension. Amazing stock. Damn near a kit on your bike stock. Stock for stock. Nothing is holding a candle to this bike right now.

@@adamrochester1 there’s a reason I’m racing the 450 this seasons all I have to say. My 19 300 also doesn’t really fall into the fun category. It’s scary. Makes too much power to be “fun” it’s a tool. A damn good one too. It can be quite the handful if your not on your game. Now it will get used for very specific races where I know it will be a better choice than the 450.

Get a new Husqvarna fc 350 I don't care how much hp or how fast the Yamaha is no one in my class is beating me in my 350 best bike I've ever rode and my Husqvarna fc 350 isn't lacking any power she always gets the win and I'm the only one on a 350 everyone else has 450

I had the 2013 and thought the same thing. Horrible bike. I bought a low hour 08 after that rode for two seasons and it was leaps and bounds better than the 13

How come you can ride that 450 and jump on my Husqvarna 350 and get a faster lap time and everyone in my class runs the 450 and i run the Husqvarna fc 350 and those Yamaha 450 are not doing so well catching me 😂

Solid review love my new yz and I’m an ex bodybuilder had the 21 model which was decent but rode every other bike apart from the 2024 kx and the yz that’s the one that stood out for me

I don’t get it. As a old slow mid pack vet rider, I will take the KTM 8 days a week. The 2023’s suspension is great, and with a little bit of tuning it’s fantastic. Maybe I need to ride Yamahas more. I don’t get it. Maybe it’s just for pros, or ex pros and not weekend hacks like myself

No one in my class is beating me on my Husqvarna fc 350 and they all have 450 I've won every race but the one I crashed in I wouldn't ride any 450 after riding my Husqvarna fc 350 bike is amazing and I get the hole shot most of the time and not many slow people in my class
