Not putting a hydraulic clutch stock on it is as bad as KTM not putting a spring fork on the SXF models. We pay big bucks for these bikes put on the goods

The airfork isn't a downgrade depending on who you are.

No it's not, alot of people prefer the cable clutch, if you prefer hydraulic then you can easily convert it for $250. With the KTM, no one prefers air forks and if you want to change to spring it is not a cheap and easy job.

People say they like a cable and always have them adjusted wrong and when they use a hydro clutch they usually never go back. No adjustments ever and smooth. We are not Eli Tomac the general public is better off with the hydraulic clutch. And I haven’t met anyone who likes air forks

@kelceyk8199 the air forks are 100% downgrade compared to springs. What's one good thing about them?....

@kelceyk8199 If you have a factory team that can tune them to any track/ condition/ temp/ elevation between every race, then there is an advantage with weight. Other than that, springs and oil will always be more consistent.

YZ450F won our 2024 450 Shootout by a decent margin. It was the best FOR US.

@@swapmotolive. although Ive not rode this new 450 but actually do like me a yzf, im always sceptical when a channel is advocating for a product that is one of their sponsors

​@swapmotolive. Out of the box is it though??? I think it's a death trap, way too snappy off the bottom, atrocious headshake down the straights, suspension isn't as good as before, seat is harder than a concrete floor and it knifes in corners. The prior model was a Yamaha, straight as an arrow down the straights and rough sections, yes they didn't corner very well but at least I felt safe and confident on the last generation this thing scares me almost as much as the Crf450r I had a couple of years ago
