@@abdulkarem3 no brother for example, it's like this all us normal people are in level 1 and in level 1 there is a hundred stairs, when we ask Allah SWT to grant us the highest rank in jannah, we are asking to reach the 100th stair in level 1, where as the prophets are in level 100 which has 1000 stairs and Allah SWT has given our prophet ﷺ the 1000th stair.

Bro, all the four madhabs have their strengths and in the history of Islam, many great scholars have come out of the four madhabs. It is makruh to say that one madhab is better or more lenient than the other. If I'm in Egypt and I have a dispute with someone in court, and the judge who is Shafi rules against me, will I reject his ruling and go out and look for another judge who is of my madhab to get a more favorable judgement?

The one he is quoting is "Do not curse Quraish, for a scholar from it will fill the layer of earth with knowledge" Shafi' was a Quraishite (narration is weak) The narration about Rulers is different Bukhari 7222 I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying, "There will be twelve Muslim rulers (who will rule all the Islamic world)." He then said a sentence which I did not hear. My father said, "All of them (those rulers) will be from Quraish."

Who told u that seebawayh knows Arabic more than imam Al shafi Being a scholar in nahw(Arabic grammar) is a thing and knowing the language is a completely different thing Seebawayh was a nahw scholar which means he memoried a lot of rules and knew a lot of scholars argument...etc But imam Al shafi was a pure Arab He spoke the language intuitively Like Arabs in jahilya era and the era of the prophet peace be upon him Arabic grammar wasn't created but they spoken the language naturally So there is no relation So of course shafi is more knowledgeable in the language than seebawayh cos he is a pure Arab and his speech is hujah which means Arabic rules can be set according to how he speaks As same as Arab in jahilya unlike seebawayh he learnt Arabic and he is not hujah And JazakumAllahKhairan for your thoughts 😊

Imam al Shafai was with bedouin for 10 years he learnt the closest arabic to that of the prophet (saw) during his time. Imam al Shafai is a master in the arabic language……

And being a pure Arab doesn't mean nothing after the prophet's(PBUH) time, being apure Arab was only accepted as an evidence in the Jaahaliyah days. And a persons lineage is never the case being stronger in Arabic Imam Malik was a Yemeni Arab from Himyar he is a pure Arab. Rather his lineage is more Arab than Quraysh because he was a Yemeni and he used to make Lahn whilst Shafiee wouldn't make lahn. Even seebawayh and these scholars of Arabic are not a Hujjah in Arabic the Hujjah in Arabic is the Quran and Pre Islamic poetry not seebawayh or shafa'ee. Btw Seebawayh Al Kesaai and al Farraa and these scholars of the language were not only scholars in Grammer but also sarf rather they knew Arabic poetry and studied it because they would use it as evidences. U can say shafa'ee is a better poet than seebawayh and co. But to say shafa'ee was more knowledgable than Kisaaee and seebawayh in Arabic then that's not true even though shafa'ee is probably the only Imam from the scholars of Islam who is up their with them in Arabic.

Simple answer. Why are you a hanafi? because you are born to it. People generally don't research and change their madhabs, because common people don't have that much knowledge to choose a mad'hab for them. In the old times, it was mostly due to a ruler adopting a particular madhab or because geographic proximity and all. Number of people is not a proof for anything. All Imams of mad'habs are giant scholars of Islam. No need to put anyone down.

I remember in the 90’s and early 2000’s the salafi dawah rejected the 4 madhabs and called those that didn’t blind followers. It’s very similar to how now they have hijacked the term ‘ahle sunnah wa jamah’ in the last 10 years. Both examples are clear of the deception of these people, and therefore by default their testimony has to be rejected.
