So honored you mentioned our game 1490 Doom! You explained it perfectly. Thank you and nice work my friend. Our full rule book comes out October 7th!

No problem at all, it is a great game that has given me and my group a heap of very fun games, so thank you for coming up with the idea. Thanks for watching and I look forward to your future releases, I will be sure to do videos that will include them. Thanks again.

@@bigbattleslittleworlds Bassicaly, and I'm not doing it justice, a fantasy, WW1 skirmish game with anteaterlike troops. Wargames Atlantic has just released a starterbox called "Clash of rhyfles" that contains enough for 2 armies for a skirmish, but it can become a much larger game if you want.

Frostgrave is my all-time favorite, but I'll put in a plug for One Hour Skirmish Wargames by John Lambshead. Really fun card-driven system of variable action points that you can play in a variety of settings. And he just gave out with an Ancient/Medieval version to cover even more ground!
@bigbattleslittleworlds2 ай бұрын
Great call there on 1-hour wargames, I have played a few games in the past, and really fun. Im looking forward to medieval and ancient.

Lion Rampant is an excelent system and allows for expansion of forces, but a simple 24 point retinue can be as few as 12 mounted and 12 foot figures. Also well supported with various supplements.

Great list dude! Props for mentioning Ravenfeast too. It's a massively underrated game that doesn't get talked about enough. Quick games, easy-to-learn rules and easy to adapt to other settings (my friend and I have just played a game using Greek and Persian minis instead of Vikings and Saxons). It is also very easy to teach to new players. In fact, it is my go-to for new wargame players and so far I have introduced two friends to gaming through Ravenfeast. And all for free! Awesome game made by an awesome group of guys at Little Wars Tv! 😃

Could not agree with you more on that front. I have been using 100 Years War minis in my games. Well done for getting new people into the hobby. Thanks again for watching.

Great choices William!! Ravenfeast or Necromunder are probably my favourites, only saw Aliens as a boardgame tbh but love that game. My 2 games that id recommend couldn't be more different... Reign in Hell by Snarling Badger where you command a demonic cabal fighting for control of Hell, with the supplement it also adds solo and campaign modes. The other is Badger and Burrows!! The models are so colourful, the game is just fun but still has tactical depth to keep you entertained
@bigbattleslittleworlds2 ай бұрын
Haha, I will need to look out for Badger and Burrows sounds fun. Reign in hell could be interesting too, does it come with minis? Thanks again.
@lukefarrell67692 ай бұрын
@@bigbattleslittleworlds Reign in Hell is miniatures agnostic, so utterly rule of cool. Badgers again the book comes separate and then you buy minis… sorry but no idea on postage to NZ but who hasn’t pictured wind in the willows with weapons lol

Interesting selection of games there... I really like the look of T28. If you haven't already you should check out Carnevale from TTCombat. Set in Rennaisence Italy, a dimensional rent has opened above Venice allowing Eldritch horrors to invade the city. With a dynamic movement system, tight d8 based combat, loads of great looking minis from numerous factions and a starter set for only £35 ("Escape from San Canciano" which contains everything you need to play, including terrain), it's a must for any fan of skirmish games. NB - I typed this up an hour ago when I watched the vid but only just noticed that it didn't post... now there's a Senior Moment for you.

Love the look of these and have fond memories of Necromunda and Mordheim. I'm just starting in on Forbidden Psalm and the variants for it, Kill Sample Process and The Last War. Very worth a look, especially if you are a kit basher. I'd also make a pitch for Gaslands being essentially a vehicular warband game. Low model count, low point of entry.
