I have visited Chengdu with my family in Dec 2019, we were staying at Taikoo Li and we have a very good time there. Chengdu is one of the most beautiful city in the world…I will be back 💕💕

Chengdu is a magic city. It is modern but historical, it is leisure and fast-speed. You can not define what is Chengdu, however, you can feel it if you walk around the city.

Many thanks for Nicolai. I love his documentary video for Chengdu. I would visit this city later. And I would like that some western people can visit his channel in the future. It will help them to understand China more, clearly and correctly. Indeed, Chinese people from China are not the thieves or warlike people. They are only intending to bring the prospect and opportunities to the world for all people. It is not only for Chinese people in China. I hope one day will come truth - some western media and some western politicians will take out thier own prejudice views. The picture just like the song of imagine from John Lennon.

Harmony is an important part of the Chinese culture. In Chengdu the traditional and the modern coexist in harmony. Harmony is not only practiced in cities, it is applied all over China and beyond. The Belt and Road Initiative, which has plenty of criticisms, even political demonization, is in essence an attempt at global harmony through trade, commerce, investment, people and cultural exchanges for humanity's common destiny.

The more I learned about China's history the more I felt like they tend to make alot of mistakes overtime. Centuries back, they used to have highly advanced civilisation. Then...fell into poverty...conquer by other countries. During the great leap forward, stupid mistakes was make and ended up in famine. Then came industrialisation, but many didn't persist to develop their own technology, but copy the western one. Now its 2021...I can see they finally make progress into development and innovation again. I hope they persist to use their brain, and perhaps the next big thing will come from China.

@@mina5679 10 years in Chengdu and I don’t know how bad the pollution is? Look at the video! He tried to show the TV tower and you can barely see it now because of the smog... Wait till winter time 😂 Tell me, do you ever see kids sweating black dirt when they play outside in the winter? 🤷🏽♂️

I’m from Chengdu. The Funan River ten years ago may have been the water pollution you mentioned, but now it’s not the Chengdu it was ten years ago. What you see in Chengdu is water pollution, and what I live in Chengdu is the transformation of Chengdu, the vitality of the city, full of vitality.
