Greenteck will probably be the GOAT. The amount of impact he has had on popping, the amount of battles he has won, etc. I rarely pop anymore, but have followed Greenteck since he was a kid. I have seen just about every video of his, as sad as that sounds. No dancer I have come across has been able to connect and become the music like Greenteck has. Not even the OGs. Greenteck dances with the music where most poppers nowadays dance to it. He incorporates every style. No popper, and I mean NOT ONE, has had their style evolve the way Greenteck has over the years (except maybe wiggles). Every year his style changes. He experiments with old foundations and techniques, and mixes it with his own concepts. You can pick a video from each year since 08 and every year his style is completely different and even cleaner. Who else have you seen that has successfully done ground moves, gliding, footwork, puppet, toy man, scarecrow, waving, tutting, party dance, robot/animation, boogaloo, etc etc etc. He'll do multiple in just one round of popping. He wins all style battles and doesn't just do popping. He incorporates breaking, locking, hip hop, party dance, and is just an endless supply of everything hip hop. Is his attitude perfect? No. But He competes. He actually battles where most guys just go in and do some choreographed round to the music. He's special whether guys like his attitude or not. I can point to any video or battle of his to disprove your doubts about his dancing if anyone disagrees

I remember when Bruce Ykanji was able to hang with Green, but Green CONSISTENTLY rises, je does not stop. He's an absolute fucking machine. Greentech is good but his style is not new! Matter of fact ..I been doing the style since 1988 and other dancer as well! I was loved by many and had chance to travel with many singers around the world. If Greentech can change his behavior toward other dancer, possibly other oppturnity will be opened. For me, I not better than any other dancers, but the good , fun loving attitude , respect got me sponcered from age of 19 to 40! In all honesty I can relate to him. When I was on SyTYCD all anybody ever asked me was why I quit the show, it got so damn annoying, and I just stopped replying to people. Imagine the volume of messages and hate he gets for having a negative viral moment. It’s probably really taxing on his conscience, he probably regrets having done that and ultimately paid the price. I wouldn’t take it personal bro, he’s in the spotlight for having done something wrong, you can blame him for trying to block it out of his life. Just my opinion.

I think Green fundamentally has a Bay Area style (look for vids of Bay Area OGs to see what I mean). What's truly amazing is he's able to integrate essentially any style or concept as well as generate new movements, seemingly on the fly. As long as there's a video you haven't seen of him, there's some move that you haven't seen either. It sucks that he has negative aspects of the street mindset, but at the same time I think that's the only reason he can be so good.

This is just an opinion but greenteck has done just about everything you can think of as a dancer and popper but you still have ppl disrespecting his craft by doing half ass versions of his moves or second rate mobility just to say I have ground moves too. Is he highly disrespectful, yes. But I have seen a lot of battles where ppl have tried to make a mockery of his dance and as he evolved from a beat killer to a str8 musical beast ppl even had extreme negativity towards him for taking it to the next level. Many many dancers get props for doing old moves with no innovation or a lot of hits just to say they were beat killing so a history of disrespect and not enough status for his achievements are always overlooked. Even now dancers copy the art greenteck created but act like it’s their craft. Not saying it ok but popping, bboy, animation, footwork, beat killing. How many dancers not just poppers has a resume like that but they get props for moves and 1-2 disciplines that are not even top level, one of the reasons I watch older dancers who still dance and old videos of innovation and signature art

I don't think they should mix styles to dance against one another. For the fact that people will be bias. Like when green was dancing against waydi. The crowd was all for waydi. He good for his dance style but you can't compare what he does to popping. People who like him can look at his moves and say wow he burn green but I look at moves and say he didn't do anything. That why I see how green looks at his moves in same way. As it would be same for people to see greens moves towards waydi. That's why I say they should keep dance styles with there own. I think that's why green gets upset dancing against different styles.

The way I viewed that waydi battle was that Green came to battle and smoked Waydi honestly. But Waydi is in his home turf with all his crew there so theyr gna blow up over everything Waydi does. Green didnt help himself by knocking the water bottle from Waydis hand in disrespect but you are correct I can see he views Waydi and Les Twins as gimmicky meme / internet / tv talent show dancers and not real hip hop. And to a large extent thats right if you look at some more foundational hip hop dancers many of whom beat les twins in hip hop battles through the years. Waydi also repeated the exact same moves to the exact same parts of the track he battled green to which is a lot of why i think he lost, but since hed just been "bullied" by green and the crowd already support waydi theyr not even gonna consider or notice that.

Although Franquey is a very good dancer and is quick on his feet I don't like his style. There are some movements that are to stiff just to hit those beats and for his caliber your like ah okay that's it. But he is very good otherwise.

Bro, let the whole dancing during somebodies round thing go. Nobody really cares about that except on youtube. Its been like that forever and plenty of people do it. Wizzard is a grown man and reacted how he wanted to. Yea, it was wrong, but here was no need for terry to drag it out and make it worse than it was. He created more tension than was created during the incident. We can go on and on about the names you listed.They were great at different aspects of the popping dance.Its hard to bury someone when they are better than you at different parts of the dance. You want to know who one of the most disrespectful dancers was through out his dance. Salah. He just does it with a smile so people think its funny. In the end, it doesn't matter. Need to let all that other shit go and stop sounding like a hater.

This one should have been called “what makes a great dancer wack?” His shenanigans (pouring water on a dancer’s head?!!) overshadow any talent he has. He has no appreciation or humility for his gift of dance. Don’t know if they won but they should have lost that battle cause that was not cool.
