My absolute go to when I want to laugh is Impractical Jokers. I can almost always find it on the TV. I laugh till tears come streaming down my face. They've been friends for over 25 years. Just like with Rhett and Link, familiarity equals laughter.

That was a delightful podcast, thank you both. For laughs, I like to play VRchat to hangout with my online friends. Our jokes are silly, on a whim, and unpredictable which reduces my stress and we have a great time. I also like to watch funny movies or shows that I used to watch as a kid like Veggietales, old Cartoon network shows, old pixar and disney movies, and cult movie classics. The feeling of nostalgia brings me back, and the jokes are seen through a new pair of eyes making it even funnier.

that valentine gift segment was absolutely funny and pure comedy. for laughs, i usually watch sitcoms because they're so rewatchable, familiar, and you can just watch it without thinking too much about it. i probably have watched the entire community series for 4 times now, it's gold. and for movies, mystery comedy movies might be my fave.

Five minutes before I turned this on, my 1950’s, still naïve Mom, told me that after her Grandmother had died she found a weird, banana shaped neck massager in her bedroom... And do I know where she could find one now because her neck was sore. Not being one to beat around the bush (pun intended), but also a bit freaked out, I just squeaked “Adam & Eve?” 👀 Bless her, I’ve never seen anyone turn that color before 🤣.

Humour is such a subjective thing. It's strange how different styles appeal to different people. The Office (UK) was one I couldn't get into. I tried but just couldn't. Watched at least a dozen of them. "The 40 Year Old Virgin" is another (though the waxing scene was hilarious).

I love Seinfeld. But the main characters were all not the greatest people. Funnily enough, I didn't even notice (wasn't trying to truly look into it that deep) until my fiancé pointed out how they all were "terrible" people. Then I started paying attention and while I still love Seinfeld, I watch it in a totally different light now.

I remember watching the buddy system and I kept thinking that these guys absolutely have to love Mighty Boosh. Even when you start freestyle singing it sometimes feels like you're crimping. My laugher Venn diagram: The last few weeks I've been going to GMM for laughs (and the edits/compilations of best moments), but more generally I've been laughing at old school Whose Line is it Anyway for my whole life. Also comes to mind: I love Dropout and their content -- their show Make Some Noise will never cease to make me cackle, as will Breaking News. A few months ago I got deep into Taskmaster--hilarious, absurdist wonderful comedy. A man who will always make me laugh is Bob Mortimer, a British comedian who is so absurdist but so authentic (see his stories on Would I Lie To You--to die for).

I hate when Rhett talks about how he can’t brush through his hair. Cuz in the episode where link straightens his hair he is just taking the comb and starting at the scalp and just RIPPING his hair out. Even after someone suggested starting at the bottom and work ur way up to the top he STILL just kept doing it wrong LOL 😂. I’m sure he could save himself from pain and hair falling out if he just combed his hair correctly!!!! Ugh

Generally speaking, I don't really watch comedy movies. I do enjoy certain stand-up comedians, but I rarely put on something because I want to laugh... Except for Good Mythical Morning. I try to watch it every day when I get home from work because it does make me laugh and decompress, and it's like 20 minutes, not an hour and a half, so it's easy to make time to watch it.

Rhett needs to get a carved comb (instead of one stamped or molded from plastic) if he doesn't have one. I got one made by Kent (English brush/comb maker), and it moves through hair so smoothly. Such a small thing really makes a big difference.
