If Tomorrow Never Comes is honestly my favorite song of all time by Wage War. Not because of its metal aspects, breakdowns, heaviness, etc but because it really showcases how diverse and skilled WW are as a band. They have such skills with the metal aspects, space, progression, and almost symphonic sounding portions all within the same song! Easily their best in my opinion.

Not really the same genre but have you ever heard of Katatonia? 10 studio albums of pure haunting beauty. It’s hard to describe the easiest way I can put it is it’s soothing metal especially their newer stuff, the older you get the heavier you get. Has some freaking awesome clean vocals contrasting with the heavy guitars. I recommend starting with “night is the new day” for a nice blend of their heavy and soothing, but you may end up wanting to hear more :)
