Hi mam I am a final yr student and with not so great gpa(above 8) normal college . I did my SFP 23 at IITM and currently working on a paper under prof from NITT(is these both sufficient in order to compensate the low gpa) both of these works are in my field. I need to get into MS +Phd in electrical and electronics engineering (ECE dept) in FALL 25 coz I am planning to get some research experience in my field. Will this be enough to get recognized or some what okay to get into some top universities.

I think you are working in the right direction. Keep doing it and apply to good mix of universities. Also, check out my advice in the PhD video posted last month.

It will be tough with a below 8 gpa for ms cs . You can try programs like mis, data science, computer engineering, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity etc. Try NYU, University of Buffalo, stony brook University, university of utah, florida state university, university of florida, university of Georgia, Northeastern university

Ma'am I have 8.35 cgpa in cse and have done two research internships in Cambridge University and IIT but don't have a paper published yet since I am working on one as of now. Apart from my research internship I also worked with my state government power supply department as software engineer.
