It also comes on if you have to much oil or you are parked on a hill it happened to me I was parked on a hill

Yes you right comes on not only when oil is low but if you over fill also comes on I think

@@PeterFinnTheCarDoctor not yet. I made an appointment for tomorrow. I got an oil change 3 months ago. Service was due soon. I have a feeling there is an oil leaking into the combustion. Causing the oil consumption. The car only has 5700 miles … I think there is TSB but Mazda has yet to fix this issue

Owners Manuel says to add 1L 5w-30 engine oil..Im hesitant to add myself and instead prefer Mazda dealer service to inspect it since it’s under warranty and I want these issues to be saved in my history . Just in case of a warranty disclaimer

I have issue with the oil light on my caldina 3sfe,so I replace my oil pump with a brand new oil pump afternoon replacing it the oil sign goes out...and then comes on again after driving for several kilometers...
