Engine Oil Light Comes On and Off But The Oil Is Full!

My 06 Chrysler GC 3.8l light came on when idling. Turned out to be the wire running from alternator and starter had a blown fusible link. Ran a wire from the alternator and battery which fixed the problem.

I have it coming on when idling too. Do you think I have the same problem as yours or is it something major? I drive Uber for a living so I have to keep driving it and can't afford to go to a mechanic. I actually have been dealing with another problem which is the battery light on dash comes up and the car stalls. I thought it was the alternator and changed it but the problem still exists. The oil light started happening recently and I'm wondering if the 2 issues are related. Especially since you mentioned the alternator which can be related to the oil light and the battery.

My car is a 09 Nissan MIcra ,manual. the oil light only flickering when i stop sunddenly or when jerking.once i cruising ,the light crush out .does that normal .and the veicle sounds squeak when accelarating..

It takes a moment for the pump to build up pressure.

renew coolant

Check the head gasket. if its bad, it will allow oil to leak and the light will come on.
