Thanks . Pon seems like a fantastic medium for majority of the indoor plants .

They really are so beautiful with those giant leaves! You’re doing a great job with them! I have a question about the pots you use - can they be used with soil or are they specifically for pon or Leca? I have one plant in Leca and I noticed that the top layer of the Leca balls gets a white residue on it when the water level drops. I’m assuming it’s because I’m using tap water and it’s from the chemicals in the water? Is that what you’re referring to on your pon? Thank you for sharing and congratulations on your success with Antherium!! 💜💚🪴🌵

Thank you! 💚 Yes, I think pon and laca always get residue from salts and fertilizer, and both of them do need to be flushed. I have not used them with soil myself, but I see people doing it. They are made for all kind of medium, not just for pon or laca. You can always try 😊.

I can see why these plants are so desirable. But for me I'm staying more focused on Hoyas and orchids. I'm in Florida and I try to create shade for shade lovers. 😎

I don’t blame you, they are not easy, but they are beautiful and I like a little challenge here and there. Hoyas are still my number one plants, I love them so much and obviously focus of my channel is more on Hoyas but I like to share my other plants too. Thank you so much for watching anyway! 😊💚

@@ElenasGreenPlanet I hope you do an update on them as they flourish with you. I don't even know what pon is. Your flat mite challenge was really new to me and that's when I subbed. Lol on your statement that mealy bugs just didn't even faze you ...I am progressing with you thanks.

@@dianemottram3060 I will definitely make an update video at some point regardless if they flourish or not, you never know with plants😂. Pon is basically same idea as bonsai soil, very rocky substrate. Oh the flat mites, they definitely took plant community by storm. Honestly after dealing with challenge like that, mealy bugs definitely don’t phase me anymore. I used to freak out so much when I saw them before, and I would get so itchy for a whole day 🤣. I guess it’s a learning process more we know, easier it gets. Thank you so much for subscribing and progressing with me! 😊💚

Anthuriums are beautiful but they scare the heck out of me! I hear they’re super picky, love humidity and I live in a pretty dry area. Even with humidifiers I dont get humidity over 50%. In your experience, which anthurium would be the best to start with?
@ElenasGreenPlanet Жыл бұрын
I am obviously not super experienced with anthuriums either but from what I’ve seen so far, I think crystallinum is the way to go as a first one. They are definitely not easy, but they are so beautiful and I am determined to grow at least a few. 😊💚
