Letterly? Vernacular architecture is an architecture made as local design, local material, local charasteristic of construction. I would say most of the time more of less organic architecture.

WTH some white dude (grandson of charles and ray eames, no less) rambling with no real direction on vernacular design made by people from non-white cultures. he does quite an injustice to the topic, with a quite a lot of imprecision and condescension on the topic... and manages to slip in his grandparents into the talk... why talk about the eameses at ALL when talking about vernacular design? drivel. watch only to see the prejudices and lack of nuance that often exist in the discussion of this topic.
