Fun fact: FL Studio was originally developed as a game. The developer wanted to create something simple and addictive like Tetris but with a music creation angle. They kept evolving it and adding new features till it eventually became a full on DAW. Around version 3~4 is when it really got some legs...and the rest as they say, is history.👍

I even installed it on a computer at school, made a quick slap and had a crowd around me turned into a cypher 😂 every sound is pre eq’d and compressed giving you the freedom to just create. Messed around with it....but started on a computer program called Hip-Hop ejay....and also messed around with a 4 track recorder and recorded everything seperately while I muted everything else (learned how to bounce tracks manually this way)...bass, drums, keys, all the orchestra stabs, etc, and used that to learn about levels, stereo balancing, and mastering,....

Newest Megadeth book talks about how the producer for their album had to cut and hang tape everywhere like he was tying to solve a high level crime, just to put together the tracks for the songs. Extremely meticulous and time consuming with high margins for error. Bouncing tracks from a PlayStation is a wild concept. Its cool to see the evolution through the years.

I say we pledge to bring it back again to really inspire those that maybe havent ever tried it. I think it would be a fun game to get people to try out maybe that havent made music and those that grew up with it could have another nostalgic feel again. It would be odd in todays market of games but at the same time i know there would be a steady following and simply enough could even add online features to say upload beats on its platform itself and maybe allow people to buy beats or remix stuff etc. It would be a cool idea just thinking in the sense of most people that hop on games with other users created content leaves that mystery that draws people in because i know there’s a lot of people that would go i wanna hear what they got on there whether for fun or recording purposes etc. Plus the amount of streamers out now they could review it n make a beat then that simply will get people in to buy the game and try it out. Think about all the people that get on games just to try out someones map they created or mission and that excites people and leaves that mystery of what you might find that you really like or enjoy
