I just found your channel! Love your energy. Your daughter is gorgeous! My 14 month old son is also a great eater! My struggle is he has a milk allergy and also doesn’t have soy so I’m constantly trying to find new ideas. What I really wanted to say is I LOVE how you reply to the people criticizing your choices for YOUR daughter. You have a classy clapback 🤣 You’re showing what your daughter eats in a day. The title doesn’t say “what YOU should feed your kids in a day.” People are always trying to mother someone else’s kids. Anyways you gained a new subscriber! ❤️

That’s so much food! Looks like she eats two lunches and two dinners at once ! I’ve never seen a child that age eat so much food ! I’m literally blown away. I don’t know if it’s good or bad that her stomach is used to soo much food, but I guess it’s better than a toddler who doesn’t eat. But I’m floored. I have a 4 year who eats very well but nothing compared to her! And my one year old eats three meals a day and milk and hardly snacks but his plates are nowhere near this much quantity! Nor my daughters!! I’ve never seen anything like it!

When i went to my daughter 18m dentist appointment she told me it is bad to be eating all the time because they can get cavities. Also they need to learn that there is time for 3 meals and 2-3 snacks instead of eating all the time because they dont learn to listen to there bodies. I have a 23m old and she dont eat much but likes to snack so im working on that so she can learn to eat more during meals time

I'm literally blown away by this video. My 22 month old will literally only eat a little piece of peanut butter toast, baby porridge, crackers and some yoghurt only sometimes, no matter what else I offer her. She refuses to touch anything else and will throw any kind of fruit on the floor. She's the extreme opposite of Aliana, which is incredibly stressful. I can't believe how well Aliana eats!
@MamaBirdandTribe5 жыл бұрын
Don't get down on yourself. There's so many parents who go through the same thing. Just know that as long as your baby is healthy and growing, that is all what matters. They go into so many phases with food, so be patient with your LO. You got this mama!
@angelacapogrosso34714 жыл бұрын
This is an edited video so don't feel bad about your son eating less. It's normal. Snacking on processed food all the time is bad,even if the brands are organic. For European standards, this type of diet is really bad

My son is at a healthy weight & he eats healthy foods 90% of the time but my issue is getting him to eat at all 😭 he wakes up around 10am & he won’t eat until 1pm and he doesn’t eat much when he does. And then he might have a small snack & then he eats a big dinner! Idk how to get him to eat more throughout the day. He hates breakfast, even if I give him foods he likes for dinner he just won’t eat early!
@MamaBirdandTribe5 жыл бұрын
Jahlen Johnson at this stage it’s the hardest because our LO’s get so picky with everything. As long as he’s gaining weight and not losing weight then you shouldn’t be too concerned. Sometimes Aliana goes through those phases. Hang in there mama, your not alone.
@Jahlen.johnson5 жыл бұрын
Mama Bird and Tribe thank you for always responding to comments & being open minded and kind! I see so many people quick to judge you when you’re doing your best. Everything you fed her was great for her and it’ll show her balance in the future with what she eats which is awesome. He’s still eating the same way right now but he hasn’t lost weight and the doctor said he’s healthy so I guess we’re good! Just stresses me out when he eats so little!

You look amazing and she's got a great appetite! The signing is so good too! But Oreo yoghurt for brekkie would be a no-no for me. That would be a snack or dessert. It's too high in sugar. Also whole nuts aren't recommended for under 7s due to choking risks. I don't mean to criticise but just because a kid loves chocolate, sugary cereal, cookies etc doesn't mean you have to give it to her. She'll thank you later when she's healthy with good eating habits. I would say no and offer fruit instead. One sugary thing a day. Will she have oatmeal instead of the kalloggs sugary cereals? And maybe rice cakes instead of cookies?
@chloepamplin23225 жыл бұрын
Suse B , with regards to the cereal and yoghurt that was the exact same thing I was thinking.
@CodysFairytale5 жыл бұрын
I agree with the cereal and yogurt. My little guy is happy with Greek yogurt with fruit in it. And also healthier cereals and he is one of the fussiest eaters I know.
@MamaBirdandTribe5 жыл бұрын
I don’t mind giving her sugary yogurts or cereals in the morning. She burns off a lot of the energy during the morning since we do a lot of activities and she doesn’t nap until 2pm. She doesn’t care for oatmeal anymore. Oatmeal was something she liked for a short bit. She does like Greek yogurt too. We are always exploring what she likes and doesn’t like. That’s what’s fun about giving them a variety of foods to try. Her appetite and taste buds change all the time, so I give her a variety of foods. Maybe that’s why she has a great appetite. If your LO can eat oatmeal and the same yogurt everyday, then that’s amazing and keep it up. Keep in mind every LO is different and these are just some of her favorites that can change again tomorrow.
@onepotmakesplenty5 жыл бұрын
It's not just about calories though, sugar also has a major impact on oral health as well as future dietary choices. So keeping it lower in sugar in the early years is so much better for them in the long term. Also, for me at least, I don't give my children all the want. They may prefer chocohoops to oatmeal but I'm the mum and I provide oats. Same as yoghurts. I just don't provide the chocolate ones and cookies and they don't know they exist at home. Honestly, your daughter looks beautiful and healthy, was just trying to offer constructive feedback for the good of her future years and teeth health.
@MamaBirdandTribe5 жыл бұрын
Suse B my daughter will be fine. She also brushes her teeth three times a day. Her choices of food is still a good variety of healthy foods. It’s not like she is eating sugar for every meal. In the video she had a sugary yogurt and a some organic cookies. There’s nothing wrong with that. Give it a rest.

There are pages on Facebook for feeding toddlers also if you stop giving that she will eat other food because she will be starving and eat what is on the table. Dont expect it to be at the first day but she eventually get the message that there is no more of her favorite food and she will try the new food. As for her tooth brush her twice a day and no more milk after brushing before bed time. My daughter 23m now used to fell asleep with her bottle then i stopped it and she knows that there is no more milk after brushing her teeth

If you have fb lppk for baby toddler and kids meals ideas page. You will find ideas for food. Also try to feed him with food that will make him gain weight like rice and pasta. Carbs make you gain weight and stop breastfeeding it is recommended into 2yrs but if that is making him eat food then it is not help him that much since he need to eat a variety of food to get all the nutrients.
