Thank you 🙏🏿 I lost my loving boyfriend to SENSELESS GUN VIOLENCE , he was his mother first and only son. Moved out of the neighborhood that he went to school and grew up in. Educated himself was relocated to New York by his job and really made something of himself. A Great Man, and to come home to remodel his mothers kitchen and to attend his granddaughters first birthday party only to be gunned down and killed in the same neighborhood by his so called people from the hood on the same night as her party.. It's so sad and people from the hood wonder why certain people leave and never come back .... so anyway I'm doing something great for his mother I'm redecorating the kitchen that her son/ my boyfriend this great man remodeled for his mother only days before he was killed. His mother and father are suffering greatly right now and I'm just trying to do my small part by putting a smile on their faces when they walk into her kitchen so all she sees and feel is love. Thank you Rickey for saying that because we all can do more than we know. God bless you. I look forward to hearing your show.

I was a critical care nurse. we received a six year old child who had been shot by her mother. Mom was schizophrenic and obviously delusional and Walmart sold that gun to that seriously ill woman. she went home and shot her daughter. The little baby girl called 911 and none of us will ever forget her shaky little voice say. “ come get me please. my mamma just killed me. surgeons worked on her for hours. both came out and their masks were wet..not with sweat but with tears. She cannot live with the injuries she has and it took her 7 days to die. I would sing to her and put lovely smelling lotion on her. A Black nurse would come her hair. The surgeon brought in sweet pajamas. he..who spent minutes with most patients..would sit at the end of her bed. we all loved her in those 7 days. The last two days she was no longer responsive but we talked and sang and made sure she was not in pain. those who care for f these babies never forget ..never.
