I know what it’s like to miss a son. My oldest son, daughter-in-law and two grandchildren are in Calgary. I miss them always, but Christmas, especially. The nice thing is that we go on FaceTime and we watch our grandson and granddaughter open all their gifts.

I always wear lip oil now, I just love it. I remember when the chocolate letters first started appearing in stores and I thought they were the coolest thing and I still do lol. Hi Missy! 😃 I love the colour of the nail polish! When I looked at the nail polishes, it was all really dark colours. That church is very pretty! I know what it is like to be separated from your son. When Richard moved to BC, I was devastated!!! I cried so hard. I was inconsolable! This played a huge part into why we moved to BC. We're still not really close to him, but we're close enough that we can see him from time to time. I still wish that we were closer. Thank you so much for sharing all of your lovely gifts with us. There really is nothing that anyone can do when a mother misses her child and only we can understand what we are feeling and inconsolable is a great word to describe the pain. I loved seeing you all go bowling and I knew how happy you were at that moment. I am used to going back to Ontario and seeing my son and it didn't happen this year and it was devastating and still is. I am hoping to get there in the spring and again in the fall, well lets say I will be because nothing is stopping me this time lol. Oh my ! that church !! LOVE LOVE it, gorgeous . Ha, that cake wouldn't last me, probably wouldn't even be safe in the freezer ! You mentioned being cold, after weight loss, this cold season is the coldest i have ever been ! I have low thyroid, but taking med for it, but my hands have been like blocks of ice !! Yes, i think i have that electric lighter in my Am@zon list, I also love rose gold. Even tho i don't/can't have candles , reg or scented, i was lighting fires at the house, at the time. I/we used to smoke , when i met Rich 1982, & we got together, he had already quit Jan 1980, i decided would be purrfect time for me, i had tried 4 times before, & i quite end Nov 1982. WOW !! the rhinestone water cup !! The only thing prettier would be, if they were pink !! Oh, the church is even prettier lit up, on the ceiling too. tfs Oh yes, i think Joe Fresh is superstore ?Happy 2025

It has been warmish here but I am still freezing all the time and sounds like you are too. You better keep warm but not to warm like the fire at Richards on Christmas. I used the chopper today for mushrooms and onions and I love it, next I will try garlic in it, I am so glad that you like yours too. I am so sorry that you are going through chemo. It is the perfect package of fruit cake and it freezes so well. My daughter brought me home two other loaves of fruit cake yesterday as it was marked down and I am going to cut it up, portion it and freeze it. Nothing like a piece of fruit cake from the freezer in July :)

As usual the girls did an awesome job on your gifts, and the stocking from your husband was so good, he nailed it! I know exactly how you felt about your son not being there, one christmas my daughter moved to Alberta just the week before to live with a boyfriend, I still had my son at home but it was devastating. (She came back a few weeks later and both my kids and my grandkids are nearby). I have to go through your video again with a paper and pencil, I usually grab them before I sit down to watch so I can make a list of the things I want to look for lol.Otherwise I`ll forget some stuff when I`m in the store. I know what you mean about dry hands especially this time of year, I use a product called Miracle Hand Repair. I used to get it at a store here where I live but the store is no longer here so I had to order it from Amazon , very expensive , but it works so well I can't be without it. I can relate to you missing your Son, I went through the same thing with my Son when he moved to Saskatchewan years ago , he is back in Ontario now but that was a rough three years for me. Morning Missy..such beautiful thoughtful gifts from your family, I can feel the love. Thank you for sharing. You mentioned you are drinking a lot of water and your skin is dry. You should listen to Dr. Berg and Barbara O'neill video on making sure your cells are hydrated (salt water or electrolyte water)..I use celtic salt...a couple of grains in my lemon or ACV water plus some under my tongue. Not everyone can use lemon or ACV. Its worth a listen. Drinking too much water depletes your body of minerals. happy new year Missy🎉 my skin has been so dry as well. The Vaseline was so thoughtful. My lips got so dried out by Christmas Eve I was hunting all over the bathrooms for some Vaseline for my lips. I found some and will pick up some more.

Nothing worse that dry lips or itchy skin especially if you can't find anything to put on it to relieve the itch. I am so glad you found something to put on . Missy!!! Yay! Sorry to hear that you were sad over the holidays...it is difficult when our kids fly the coop. It seems to be mostly with our lads. I can commiserate. Just wanted to give you a heads up on the dry shampoo. Check to see if it contains talc. There is a massive class action lawsuit regarding talc and it causing cancer...proven, known, now being litigated. Do not use if talc is present! For your super lovely curly hair, you can use a tbsp of olive oil. Apply to ends, frizzies, scalp...I let it sit for a couple of hours...apply any extra to your skin. The olive oil softens, smooths and helps hair growth. My wavy thick hair was frizzy at the ends...no more! Even my stylist noticed the difference. Hello Susan :) It was such a sad few days for me and it is so sad when I can't go and see him but hopefully in the Spring I will be able to get to Ontario. Hello Cindy :) My hubby did such a great job especially when he does not like to go into the shops. The church is just so special and I am going to enjoy looking at it lit up every night. That is so true that us mother's suffer in silence and that is exactly what it was like. The girls have such a gift for picking out gifts they really do, things I would never think of. That water cup is everything lol, it is so posh and I feel I might have to give her a name she is so special lol. Scott is doing well and on the mend thankfully. My husbands friend was so happy and excited about the basket and sent us a beautiful message which was so sweet. I really hope that they enjoy it. You did very well for Christmas! You have a very beautiful family Missy. I have the same lighter and I love mine. A charge lasts a long time on it. I love that Strawberry Shortcake shirt. I had a bunch of them when I was little. We both grew up in the 80's and they were a huge hit back in the day. A few months ago I seen the whole set at Value Village and I was so tempted to buy them but I didn't, plus they were asking 59.00 for them. It even had the strawberry house!! Boy, did your shirt ever bring back the memories lol....Your hubby even did some great shopping too!! Glad you had a fantastic Christmas and were able to have a nice call from your son. Good afternoon Dayna :) I really did do well and I am so thankful and blessed with everything. The lighter is amazing and much better than using a regular lighter. Good to know how the charger works on it and I like that you have one too :) The Strawberry Shortcake shirt is everything lol. They were such a huge hit back in the day. Oh I bet the set at Value Village was really nice though. After opening that shirt I was stuck in the 80's all day , so many wonderful memories. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Missy !!! I have had an extremely busy last 4 months. I try to watch your videos whenever I get a chance but I’m not always able to make a comment. I will try to be better at commenting in the new year as I hope things will be slowing down a bit. I felt I had to comment on this video for safety reasons. I’m not sure if I ever told you that I am a 20 year veteran fire fighter and still active. I couldn’t help but notice the placement of your candle on the table surrounded by combustibles. This is a dangerous situation. Candles can suddenly send up a large flame and ignite items nearby. One of my neighbours actually lost their whole house due to a candle that was lit on their deck. The fire Marshall determined that it shot up a flame that caught the outside wall on fire and into the eaves that quickly spread throughout the home. Luckily no one was injured but they did lose their cat. I would never want this to happen to you❤ Enjoy all of your lovely gifts and your precious family. I love Scented candles, but unfortunately I have a very sensitive nose. I can handle any kind of smells for about half an hour then I start to get extremely nauseous to the point where I get sick. That also includes food smells and perfumes.😕 👋🇨🇦
