I had such a bond with my Grandma Bessie. We lived right next door to her and she taught me so much. She would sit me under the big oak tree and braid my hair every morning. We'd spend evenings on the porch, looking for a cool breeze or a storm as we snapped our green beans. There will never be another like your Grandma. Your family reminds me so much of mine. Corie, what a sweet video about what you learned from Miss Cindy. Grandmothers are a blessing to us. I learned so many good things from both of mine. Yes, there is such a thing as a Highly Sensitive Person. It's not a disorder or syndrome, but a trait. The book by Elaine Aron brought it to my attention years ago. It helped me to learn that I'm a HSP. Anyway, your Miss Cindy was indeed a beautiful light in your life. May she rest in peace with Jesus. God bless you, Corie.🕯️🌹💖

One of the things that I have always thought was that those who have had to see their grandparents pass away are very fortunate and blessed. ...because it means that they were fortunate enough to know their grandparents. Those who never knew their grandparents, were less fortunate. Some folks get to know (remember) their great grand-parents and they are even more blessed. Regardless of whether we knew our ancestors (or not) we can appreciate that each and every one of them was responsible for our existence.

Corie, believe or not, you are demonstrating the healing process of your broken heart. Right now, your world must seem very strange not having your grandmother here, someone who’s known you all your life. But you sharing the wisdom that she left you, is more precious a treasure than the purest gold on earth. The memory that brings a tear today, will bring a smile tomorrow. To honor her, you can pass on to your future children, just what you have shared here on this video. God bless, and heal you in his time!

Greetings from Saltville Virginia. 🇺🇸 I’m 55 years old and my wife is 35 years old. My wife’s mom and my wife’s memaw have both passed but my wife’s great grandma is 99 years old and still going strong. I’ve begged my wife to learn things from her but she don’t never talk to her unless she has to. My point is… Learn from the old folks as much as you can because they’ll be gone someday and then it’s too late. The internet can’t teach you everything and that’s a fact.
