Hi Jenny thanks for making another video. You talk a lot of sense. I just had a major change to routine for 16 days. Last week I had a mega meltdown. A few days ago I felt In the pits of despair. Now the last 32 hrs my routine is back to normal and I feel amazing!!!! Meltdowns even the mini ones are invariably draining but somehow I often feel kind of reset eventually afterwards

Thanks for all of your insights and advice as always Jenny. Sorry to hear you felt so sad about your boss leaving this week but I'm so pleased your counselling went well. I know exactly what you mean about closing yourself to painful feelings and concentrating on keeping busy - I think we're good at that in our community! I didn't know you had a pet ferret!! He's gorgeous!! ❤

Thank you Liz. I hate to see her go. She was THE best. Yes, I agree. We are able to block out the pain by focusing on what we like to do and in cases like this, it's good. Yes, that's Noodle. Very sweet, but hyper little guy.

Hi Jenny ! You're doing a great job going through all of this, and being able to talk about it on youtube ! I hope you realise how strong you got ! I hope your next boss will be a good one, but I'm sure you'll make the best decision for yourself when you'll know him/her enough. Have a nice weekend !💕

It has done a lot of great things for me and I'm watching my journey as well. :) Time will tell on my next boss. Have a beautiful weekend as well!

Um, Thanksgiving is like super tough for me and my wife - and honestly, I've never even considered getting it catered before, but we might just go that route from now on... We seriously gotta recognize our boundaries...

It was the best thing ever. Anything you can do to take some stress off a holiday....it's worth it. :) Or, another suggestion might be, make the meal a potluck and every that comes brings dishes. Or buy microwavable sides, anything that makes the holiday easier.

Hi, Jenny! You're in a tough spot, but you're such a trooper! I am proud of you for managing the best that you can. The last Thanksgiving I celebrated was in 2021 with my Mom before she passed away. Last year, I had to work (cashier at a pharmacy). This year, I made myself a vegan cheeseburger and ate alone in my room. I live with one of my brothers, but we don't interact with each other. I think you have the right approach to not mull over your situation with your grandsons because there's not much you can do right now. Praise the Lord that He answered our prayers and found a safe and loving home for the boys. I am sorry that you still have to cope with your work situation. I pray that the Lord will make provisions for you (in the event that things don't work out with your new manager). Have a blessed weekend! ❤🙏😇

I'm so sorry Mary about your mom. I can imagine that to be really tough. I know what it's like to struggle to have a close relationship with a brother. I love mine very much but we don't have much in common. Yes, it felt selfish to say that on camera but it is true. I think our mind just tries to protect us sometimes when we can't handle things. It is an answered prayer because they couldnt' keep living the way they were. My daughter has been going to church and it is an answered prayer. :) About my boss, time will tell. I really hope I get another good one. I was always afraid my boss would leave and now it came true. it was too good to last. Thank you for the prayers! It means a lot...have a good weekend too!😃

Glad your Thanksgiving worked out so well, Jenny. I'm sure being at home helped! Mine was at my son's, with out-of-town in-laws, and grandkids. The only reason it wasnt super stressful is that I was so busy cooking there was so time for sitting around trying to make conversations, thank goodness! However it was hardly relaxing and I was glad when it was over. I do think N.T.'s give us the wrong advice sometimes....and that goes for councilors too. It's nearly impossible for them to put themselves in our shoes. So I wouldn't worry about her advice to attend social settings with people you don't know, unless you have a really strong urge to do it!

Yes, I agree. They think it's so easy to just fix the situation for us. They don't understand. I'm glad your Thanksgiving went well. :) I love when I'm too busy to talk. LOL I do that at work all the time. I choose to do something on my computer or take care of something instead of go into someone's office and chat. Welp, Christmas, here we come, right? LOL We can do this Gwennie.
@scherzo1222211 ай бұрын
Haha....yes we can, and here we come ready or NOT! I'm getting my own Christmas cards that I designed printed this time (with some assembly by me required)...a creative project to focus on right now. I can have my pre-Christmas panic later! @@autisticjenny 😄

@@scherzo12222 that is awesome! I love that. :) People don't send out Christmas cards like they used to. It's almost like a lost art form. I'm glad you are keeping it going! I usually purchase mine from Dollar Tree. (I know, not very creative.) I will probably have my memory care seniors make some Christmas cards for their family members.
@scherzo1222211 ай бұрын
Dollar Tree actually has really nice cards, and the prices are right too! I think card prices (all occasions) have gone through the roof most places, so lots of people just send ecards if they send anything. I LOVE Christmas cards and save all of them . I have many boxes full! I look forward to looking at them with the grandkids when they're bigger.@@autisticjenny

Hi Jenny, family gatherings are always easier for me, however I do not agree with your therapist recommendation of going to a social event where you don’t know anyone. I could never do it nor would I try. Praying your new boss will be kind and considerate. At least you have this KZbin channel and your Etsy shop. ❤🙏
@autisticjenny11 ай бұрын
Thank you Yasmin. I know...when she said that I was like, what? But I will say that having the family gathering since did boost my self esteem. I don't mind going somewhere when I don't know anyone if everyone is like looking at a stage and the focus isn't on me or at a movie theater where the lights are out anyway. Thank you for the prayers on a kind boss. :) Me too....I am praying about that. Yes, I'm glad to have the youtube channel, but it doesn't bring in any income yet. My etsy shop does as good as I"m willing to put the time into it. But I'm very greatful for that extra little side hustle. :)

I agree... That would be very difficult - unless you didn't have to interact with anyone... It depends on the event. (BTW, I'm the same person as, @Finding_Harmony )
