Jokic embarrassed Minnesota in game 4. Although his numbers weren’t as high as usual, his ability to out maneuver Minnesota’s attempts at defending him shows why he is the best player in the game. If they put Gobert on him he shoots floaters over him, if Edwards tries to defend him he just bullies him in the post, if they double team him he passes out of it. Just a brilliant basketball player. Anyone who thinks SGA deserved the MVP over Jokic is a hater.

A lot of credit should be given to Coach Malone. His simple adjustment of having Gordon and Jokic bring the ball up the court (instead of Murray who was smothered in G1 and G2) allowed the Nuggets to get into their offense quicker. It also kept Gordon into the offense and he was absolutely dominant. Something to watch for in G5 is how Minn will attack the ball and if MJP gets his shot going as we know Gordon can't shoot the same in G5 so someone else needs to break through. Should be a great game.

Yeah, murray has been a liability, specially since he was missing way to many shots near the rim, even easy floaters...

@@Srt3D01-db-01 the interior length of Minn has bothered Murray. I have noticed a lot of unnecessary screens set for him where the primary defender is smaller and after the switch he has a taller/longer defender on him. But he's not blowing by enough and really getting shut down in the lane. Personally (in this series) I'd rather see him running off screens to catch the feed for open shots then switching and dribble drives.

Malones strategic prowess is exceptional with that AG rotation. But AG, damn! willing and able to become the missing puzzle piece the denver needs. PG jokic, murray, reggie, need a 4th PG? AG! the adopted splash brother? AG! you want dunks? AG! defense? power? AG!
