I always wondered if Mark got in trouble for his slip-up with SM. Even though he didn't really give anything away, he did have to back track a bit and almost marketed NCT as "Avengers of KPOP" probably thinking about SuperM (since this boy has way to many Units to keep track of). I thought it was hilarious when SuperM came out, but i bet upper management was shitting their pants when this came out. Im surprised SM didn't require Koreanenglishman to send them the editions version before releasing to make sure it was okay, ive heard of companies doing this for crowd control. Honestly in surprised they were even allowed to do a KZbin interview to begin with.

the fact that other interviewers are constantly confused by the NCT concept and make NCT explain it over and over again really contrasts to how Ollie did his research and that is the reason why Jaehyun kept saying "thank you for studying, thank you for studying" because it's so frustrating when you're in a literal interview and the person interviewing you has no idea what's going on. these guys did such an amazing job getting to know the boys and actually bringing legitimate conversation to the table :)

this is not only the best NCT interview but the best kpop interview by FAR. Honestly just bros hanging out, ordering shit tons of delicious food, spitting it out and choking on it because they can't stop laughing. Who would've known that keeping it simple and just chatting with your interviewees as if you actually gave two shits would result in better interviews. I legit have watched this over 10 times, that's like 5 hours of my entire life spent watching this because it's so entertaining. Josh, Ollie thanks for this man, I think you not only brought a lot of happiness to us fans with this but also to the boys. I think they were just as happy and full of good remarks at the end towards you as you were about them. Can we have another one of these with Johnny too??

Really love all their interviews but this one is especially great because Mark and Jaehyun seemed so comfortable you guys are such talented hosts and genuinely great people. I really liked how their humbleness and maturity came across. Like you said at the end - hard to imagine they are barely in their 20s (20 and 22 at the time of filming?) since they carry themselves so well despite the pressure and fame. Your wish for them to become more successful definitely came to fruition as they’ve been experiencing a big leap in popularity this year and gaining new levels of recognition that they didn’t have last year. You could say it’s their renaissance because they’ve been charting well digitally and even sold a million albums!! It’s always great to see the members we know and love in a different context, the first idols ever to guest on this show and it remains one of my favourite interviews from them to date. Thank you for interviewing Mark and Jaehyun. I’m glad these two got the opportunity to show off themselves and also the bilingual abilities! So cool to see the blend of cultures (Mark as a Korean-Canadian who grew up for a while in the USA and Jaehyun who’s Korean but spent a few years in the USA with two British KZbinrs who have built such a connection with Korea in their lives), the overlapping of language and food and interests and goals and dreams. Great work!!

It's honestly so amazing how they both did proper research, cause nowadays the interwievers rarely even do the bare minimum of just reading articles or listening to their music. I feel like Mark and Jaehyun really appreciated that, and you can easily notice that they both were extremely suprised to see them talk about their songs, do some dance moves and talk about how their group really is put together. I personally also enjoy an interview much more if the interwiever(s) both do simple research, cause how fun is it really to watch someone have a one-way conversation about something important like, their songs and concept? Thank you, really, for just taking your time to study their group and music. This interview really is by far my favorite interview with NCT.
