I like Rodgers but I do agree on him trying way too hard to come off like a victim and like an intellectual far too much. Even AJ Hawk called Rodgers out on it and it was pretty funny. Rodgers said that if he wasn't playing football, he would write a book. AJ asked: "On what? Covid?"

Just another reason podcast will take over sports media. Its hard to believe now but ESPN is the big brother to Sports Media and News. They're viewership is dipping and their rates are getting higher and higher. There was a time Blockbuster laughed @ the idea of buying Netflix because corporate thought Mail service for Movies & Games would never make it. Fast forward 10 yrs Blockbuster has 1 licensed franchise left and Netflix, Amazon, and KZbin are the giants.

@williamallen7984 2 жыл бұрын
I don’t know if he’s content…I just think he realizes he’s not that dude when the regular season ends. For God’s sake-just watch his body language. If he’s not two scores up or dominating, he acts like he already lost. Great qb’s get it done when things AREN’T going well. Just look at their past weekend. Brady was down 27-2, came back to 27 all. Matt Stafford’s team was following apart, he almost fumbled. He got up and made to epic passes to set up the game winning field goal. When the Chiefs scored with one minute left, Josh Allen was on the sidelines telling his team he they were good, three time outs, they got this-then he delivered. When Mahomes had 13 seconds left, he was cooler than the other side of the pillow-he may as well have had 13 minutes-and he got it done. You could see in all their eyes, they were NOT losing. Mercedes Lewis fumbled and Rodgers started pouting, stopped throwing to everyone but Davonte, and just acted like it was over. You could see in his eyes he’d already lost. He doesn’t have the poise, the leadership, or the, for lack of a better term, heart that it takes to win in the post season.
@altortugas5979
@altortugas5979 2 жыл бұрын
He has been underperforming in the post season for a decade. His 9/8 TD/INT in championship games since he won the Super Bowl is the best evidence. Against the best teams in the biggest games, he hasn’t been able to deliver and his stats are underwhelming. Like, how do you define “crappy in the postseason?” Cuz Rodgers has looked for a long time like he shits himself.

Jimmy is merely a good passer but an elite leader. Aaron - just the opposite, a future HOF elite passer but merely an average leader. Coming from a 49er fan. AR: throws pass, receiver drops it, never gets targeted again as punishment, AR needs to protect his precious low-INT stats, plays conservatively under pressure. JG has short memory for not only his own mistakes but also his teammates: throws pass, receiver drops it, JG builds that guy's confidence back up in the huddle, along with everyone in the huddle, throws again to the receiver - spreads it around to more than "his favorite receiver," doesn't give a damn about his stats, ALWAYS plays aggressively and super-competitively (to the point where he sometimes plays too aggressively and gets INT'ed), teammates say they'd walk through walls for Jimmy. Anyone in the Packer huddle say that about AR?

I would love to see a Rodgers/Wilson trade. I think Wilson would adapt quickly to the cold weather. I would love to see Rodgers pull that crap with a Seattle team. They already don't block for their quarterback because they just can't. Could you imagine if the team really didn't like the qb.

Never would happen. WIlson has a no trade cluase and if you think his superstar wife who is unhappy about her career in Seattle, Washington is gonna sign off on Green Bay, Wisconsin you're high. There's only four potentials coming back through your doors for Rodgers: Drew Locke and/or Teddy Bridgewater, Ryan Tannehill, or Dwayne Haskins. Other than that, it's gonna be the Season of Love for the Pack. And I hope they enjoy that, because they've earned it :)

I like Rodgers I like his attitude he's a real person in a way many athletes are not and I think that's refreshing. I think he could run more especially when nobody is open but he wants everyone to be as competent as him and most are not and that's gonna get frustrating especially after years of it happening over and over. Dropped passes, blocked punts, field goals instead of going for tds, it's gonna get to anybody. What if Michael Jordan had 1 guy he could count on sometimes but that's it, eventually he'd get pissed.

I think we all know Aaron is a diva. But Colin shouldn't use this as a key to hate on key sports fans demographics, and frankly a little bit of his own brand in the past. Do I really need to bring up Colin's critiques of Kaepernick in the past? Talking about things like "buttoned up", Colin is a newly closeted conservative because he doesn't want to be canceled. Like he was previously, for an edgy yet completely non-racist comment. But that's also on brand for Colin is staying current, so I'll credit consistency there. But people who've watched his stuff for years know the real deal. His isn't a Max Kellerman audience.

I love that Nick is willing to eat shit if he asks for it. That's the only reason I tolerate his off base takes on Josh Allen. He also gives him a lot of credit when he gets on this podcast. I think he goes overboard on FTF for the sake of the show and the "character" he plays on the show. His energy is always better when he is just being himself. His take on Rodgers here is no different than his current take on him after the Jets horrible 2023 season.

@@javiergodsarmy7058 Lmao. Rodgers has a good arm, but is a shit leader. He's an arrogant diva who doesn't trust his teammates and fails in big moments. That's not a momentary thing; it's his entire career outside of the ONE Super Bowl appearance he has. Stafford is the better team player and better team leader. Now, if you want to talk recent games.. Rodgers had the much easier division and kept struggling against mediocre teams. Then he helped his team get bounced first game in the playoffs. Stafford, meanwhile, battled through the toughest division in the NFL, won it, beat the defending champions, beat the team who bounced Green Bay, and has now tied Aaron Rodgers for Super Bowl appearances. If you'd prefer Rodgers you don't care about building a team, or winning.

The worst this Rogers can do is go to Denver… they always blame the quarterback… only Elroy and that manning guy with the big head were immune.
