I love this guy. There are guys in the NBA who only think about basketball, they train all the time, their whole life depends on it. And then there's him, who just wants to take care of his horses. He also shows everyone that life isn't fair: he probably works less hard than Lebron, Steph or Tatum, and yet he's the boss.

It's kinda boring y'all forcing that narrative that he dislikes basketball. He was just honest in his opinion that there is more important things.. He does basketball stuff most of his days. Its normal to have hobbies and enjoy family time. Other players may say they love it tremendously, but they don't put the same effort in it like the MVP does. So that's that 🤷♂

Working with horses builds physical strength n u learn how to push back on something bigger n stronger than a human. If u watch him on his pushback moves he's moving horses.

"Basketball wasnt even close to be his main focus in the early days..." - 3 seconds later, he starts training at the age of 7. So when exactly basketball wasnt his focus, at the age of 5? Also, it was pure luck that Nikola Jokic was playing in relatively small clubs and in faraway town(s). With that attitude, if he was exposed to far more strict basketball coaches and schools around the capital, he would have been thrown out very, very, very fast. No matter the talent. Top Serbian coaches DO NOT tolerate such behaviour of young players. Not just because of those players, but the impact on their teams overall.

His young years he played basketbal because his father wanted him to and gradually started liking it. Like dude did you actually watch the video. There is a clip of Jokic literally saying it himself lol.
