Interseting video Graham, I'm going to check out the video link on cancer. Hope your recovery happens sooner that you mention in the video. Stay positive. I was telling my son who's just come back from Australia how you totally put my riding skills and fitness to shame on a ride we did with Cookie over 20 years ago when I thought I was fit!

Good morning, Graham, all the way from Australia! 👋 I just wanted to say how much I enjoy watching your videos with my coffee in the mornings. I hope you have a smooth and speedy recovery. Also, I really love the ones where you're in the garage working on your bikes-those are definitely some of my favourites!

Graham you are an inspiration and I love your videos. Really hope your recovery goes well. In terms of future content I’d love to hear more about the advice you’d give to other riders in terms of building fitness for long rides and health tips. FYI I’m mid 40s and would love to be able to do some of the riding you’ve been doing

Hello mate , I’ve got MS and I understand where you’re coming from, I try to go out on my e-bike as much as I can but at the moment it’s raining quite a lot ! I had my MS infusion on Friday and was given Methylprednisolone to help counter act any infusion related allergies, it was 100mg ,and also given 10mg of Chlorphenamine… I felt weird and confused.. I can’t even imagine having to take that everyday !! Good Video, take care bud !! 😁👊🙏

Thank you, I really hope you mange things, steroids are a sliuppery slope. I know myself I could of managed my health issue without steriods now, but thats the beauty of hindsight I guess. At the time I would of taken anything to stop the pain.

Take it easy and get better, sometimes a break is good for the body, even if we dont want to rest. Coming up to 70, i would have said 60, your fitter than most 50 year olds i know. And your spot on about sugar. I cut right down after being told high Cholestral and pre diabetic. 3 months i lost 2 stone and cholestral normal and no longer pre diabetic, wish i had cut down 20 years ago.

Maybe a different form of outdoor activity for a while. Have a look at bike rafting or pack rafting if you have not already. Maybe a gentle paddle down a local river or canal might be achievable without too many aches.

Bob Mortimer from "Mortimer and Whitehouse Gone Fishing "also suffered with shingles and it really is no laughing matter Graham. You can be lucky or unlucky an in his case he lost 80% of the muscles in his legs. If you don't know what to do with your time you could watch their series, excellent stuff for the moral. ATB from Flanders
@GrahamFootBicycleLover5 күн бұрын
I've been very lucky, my shingles has turned out to be mild thankfully. Food is the most vital thing to most things. I know Bob doesnt eat to well looking at the program. It all makes things worse. But Bob and Paul and just wonderful to watch, they really make you feel good. Just what we need.

Mate, coming off any long term medication is usually worse than the reason you started taking it. The withdrawal will usually goe in cycles when you reduce so might be worth keeping notes or a diary as you go. Also chat to someone about what to expect once you are free of the tabs. Something to work towards.
