Excellent. Thank you. The ease of access to movable chord shapes entirely justifies my purchase of the Move. I'm running Live 11.3, which is as far as my MacBook will go but I understand the principle features of transferring sets from Move into Live work just fine. I like Keyboard Monitor very much. Max for live plug in. I have had considerable difficult buying the device but I got it installed and it is backwards compatible with my system. Hoorah!

i really hope the add different layouts for the in-key mode as it is on the push. much easier to play chords when it is arranged in 4ths, at least for me.

Yes I agree, that’s why I just had to do this video. it’s not as easy as Push due to only having 32 pads so it does have some limit to what shapes can be used etc. Move just like Push will develop more features over time though for sure 👌

🤯🤯. niiiiiiice bruh! Nice!! Hopefully we get an update soon with tap tempo, metronome Volume control, and song mode. The move is more them capable. Just missing s few things. 8 tracks is a dream

I bought the keyboard monitor vst and it's telling me it's not available in my Live version. What a waste of money.

Thank you for showing us this little jewel. Does it work even in the Ableton Live Lite editions?
@SimonLyonsMusicWorkshop9 күн бұрын
Hi there, do you mean the keyboard monitor device? You need Max for Live for that particular device but the MIDI monitor that also shows you what note/chord you are playing is available in all versions of Live 12 (and Live 11 too)…. Hope that helps?

Hold up…. I’m new to Ableton 12 and recently bought a Move… now these Max for live plug-in/midi tools don’t work unless you have the top level version of Live? Or am I missing something?
@SimonLyonsMusicWorkshop29 күн бұрын
Hi there thanks for watching! The “keyboard monitor” is a Max for Live tool (link in the video description) but MIDI monitor does the same thing (just can’t “pop out”/ resize) and you’ll find this in all versions of Live under MIDI effects . See about 57 seconds into the video 😎👊🏻🎵

I have bookmarked your video and subbed for more Move and Ableton content. I mention the Max for Live thing as I bought a chord generator tool for Live 12 but none of those midi tools work unless you have the full suite package… I get that there are Max tools in Ableton but it sucks Ableton don’t give you the option to run third party Max tools unless you have the top Ableton software :(

@@DJCJ999 in defence of Ableton, there would be a licence cost to run the max devices, with Suite you have Max licence included. I assume if you create a Max device, you would have to pay a license fee to distribute it
