A simpler “Simpler” is my number 1 feature request for Move. Being able to use up to 16 slices in 16 slices mode would be great. Even if with the cpu limitations, we don’t get complex or complex pro mode, I’d still be happy. I like the track by the way.

i cant deny how good roland things sound, how well they work together, and their influence on a ton of music. But i cant get over learning the roland hieroglyphics to actually commit the workflow to memory.

Nice track! I love the freedom to take a complete song and make it your own. Not that this is the import part of a DAW, but Abelton still looks like a rough draft version of a DAW. At this point, I use Studio one exclusively. But, if a unit can give me options a DAW can’t or doesn’t, I’d consider it.

This is my #1 hesitation. Being from Ableton I just assumed it was there. I mean… they make that “Live” software where I believe time stretch is its foundation and what put them on the map. You’d think if my Quadra 650 could handle it in ‘94, maybe this modern microprocessor could 🤷‍♂️😔

Damn I actually think having a Move would be really fun, but I think I'm gonna save for the Push 3. I'm glad I could trade my SP404MK2 (really grew apart fromt that thing fast) for an MPC, but I just love Ableton's whole workflow and layout and I really love their synths, especially Drift. This beat really came together from that simple idea. Dope stuff, man.

Oh for sure, if you want to go all in on standalone, Push 3 is great choice. For me, as someone who likes to work on the computer, Move scratches my occasional standalone itch. And thanks, glad you dig the beat man!

I would but I don't have one. I had it on loan from Ableton last year but ended up not buying one for myself, I'm fine with Push 2 for now.
