I loved this video, it was classic Steele, which was the same style that got me watching in the first place. I also had a good laugh at the end.

Really enjoyed the video. You eat pretty healthy. Surprised at the smaller portion size and your ability to workout all day. That's really good and what makes you a pro. I swam in high school and military afterwards and was used to 3000-4000 cal a day and still be thin and fit. It was so hard going down to 2000 cal a day as I got older and kinda was weight/food sensitive because of it. It's inspiring to see you're keeping a healthy diet from the get go and training for the Olympics and also showing everything you eat instead of just the healthy stuff. If your wondering about antioxidants here is my explanation of it. Kinda mixed bag on if they are good or not in the medical community but I think it can help. Non-technical explanation is: chemical reactions happen all the time in the body. One common byproduct is OH-(hydroxide), sometimes called "free-radicals" in articles and OH- wants to turn to H2O or water. To do that process, it may damage cells(like tissue, muscle, organs etc) throughout body. Body can heal this damage when young but as you get older there is more damage and your bodies healing mechanisms can't keep up so the damage isn't healing and stacks up. So they say that the damage contributes to aging among other things and overall slowing of the healing process. Antioxidants are supposed to interact with the free radicals so there is less damage to cells and such. There is good and bad stuff about that if you want to read up on articles but that's the gist of it. Hope that helps.

Thanks Peter! I try to eat fairly healthy, but I make sure not to let healthy eating consume me. It's important for me to still feel free to eat things that I want, knowing that I will work them off during training. and ahhhhhh I think I've heard about free-radicals before!! That's good info! Thanks for watching!

@@Steele_Johnson That's an awesome way to think about it. I have a hard time with diet and exercise individually but tying them together would be much more motivating. Thanks!

Finally! Someone who digs mustard as much as me. Most people dip their fries in ketchup. Not me. Mustard, baby.

I live for the day when I can do a forward fold stretch like the one you do towards the end of the video - I might be 50 by the time I am flexible enough though!

Ha my hair was a NIGHTMARE! I tried to make this video a mix of diving and food! I was able to get a parking pass only for that specific lot.

Have you ever tried hummus on your sandwiches? I switched from mustard to hummus for my daily lunch sandwich many years ago, and I much prefer the taste of hummus.
