Or get ROH its own time slot on television and keep ROH belts separate from AEW belts. If ROH stands on its own, then it’ll make Battle of the Belts and Forbidden Door mean even more when all the champions of multiple promotions are under one roof. As it is right now, the ROH belts look second rate when they’re shown on TV next to the AEW belts. It also doesn’t help that all the ROH belts are silver while all the AEW belts are gold. That makes the ROH belts look even more inferior.

It has nothing to with Okada, Ospreay or Mercedes. He lost to MJF and moved down the card ,which happens to wrestlers in all promotions. Bullet Club Gold will beat the Acclaimed for the trios titles and that will keep them busy until the time is right for Jay to step back into the main event

Jay White is, at 31 years old, comfortably one of the all-around best wrestlers in the world. He has the skillset of someone you could center a top-level promotion around, and in the absence of MJF he should be the number-one guy in AEW. @@kolz4ever1980 I thought He was moving in the right direction. The tag matches with FTR up the Feud with MJF was pretty good but then it fell off. I don't even mind him moving out of the title picture for a while but we have seen the gunns vs the acclaimed and Bullet Club Gold vs The Accliamed and Billy. It has to be the most revisited feud in AEW by now. Hopefully they win the trios titles and quickly move on. I wouldn't mind seeing him feud with Edge and Become TNT champion down the line

Even if Jay can bounce back, the question is whether or not Tony Khan will ever put Jay in the position to bounce back. He's been on a downhill slide ever since he lost to a severely hurt MJF _with_ the benefit of interference. We can speculate about how talented Jay is, but here is 1 fact that cannot be disputed: Tony Khan isn't putting anybody he signs from NJPW into a position where they can succeed. He thinks he's as good as Gedo, but he's not.

I could be wrong, but I seem to remember Jericho saying in past interviews that he liked going on breaks in WWE, and coming back to reinvent himself with new gimmicks. He hasn't had a single extended break in AEW. I feel like he feels AEW needs him to be there, which, he might be right if you look at the "Stars" available atm to AEW. There's not many actual big names or draws actively wrestling in AEW atm, and I know that's crazy to say given who they signed, but Ospreay and Okada are not proven draws in the US, and the booking of Mercedes Mone has been atrocious so far. Anyway, MJF, Omega, CM Punk, Sting, Jamie Hayter, Britt Baker, and Darby Allin are all out with injury or they left the company. That's a huge blow to the company. My point is, maybe that's why Jericho isn't taking a break, the injuries happen, and he feels AEW needs him.
