Outstanding job man! Believe it or not, I play it with a guitar pick due to an injury I have on my strum hand and people not paying attention at first with watching, but just hearing are thinking I am playing it that exact way it is played. Just have to be quick and good at alternate picking. I do the same with Slightly Stoopid’s “Closer to the Sun” song as Kyle plays that song with his fingers originally also. It can be accomplished, just takes practice. Respects🤘🎸🤘

try baring only with your index, don’t make it a chord just a bar, get some clean strums like that, move the bar into different positions on the fret board, then try adding some strumming patterns. After some practice with that add in some shapes with your middle, ring, and pinky, these will be the final result, bar chords, i hope these steps help you!

you also can do it like frusciante (guitarist of rhcp).Use every finger instead of a bar chord and wrap your thumb around the neck for the bass notes.. it gives you also a lot of freedom for hammer-on and pull-offs.

Good question, I’d probably try using the middle setting and messing around with the tone knob, or mayyybe bridge and rolling tone knob down.. do some experimenting I’m sure you can get close!

Use a clean amp, default chorus pedal settings, default compressor settings, and put in a ton of spring reverb. Sounds pretty similar to the song
