Thokoza Gogo. You mentioned the issue of amadlozi not appearing in animal form, how then do we explain the issue of totems (oNdlovu etc) and also the issue of shape-shifting... you will hear that a certain Mkhulu/ Gogo to change into a bird/ lion. What happens there?

@@ELIZABETHNDOU thokoza Gogo, I said amadlozi do appear in animal forms, I gave an example of inkanyamba the snake, and the reason I gave examples of animal prints. Idlozi as a spirit can use animals to present itself . When it comes to tortem,, I don't know how tribes choose animals to associate themselves with. There is another tribe in polokwane which uses animals as names and not tortem. In this case this has nothing to do with amadlozi.
