My husband was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2015. A little over a year ago he hit his head and had a 6 inch gash, he went to the hospital where he had a CT scan and we found he had hydrocephalus. He had surgery to place a shunt to drain the excess fluid. He doesn't fall, he is no longer incontinant, and a year later his memory has improved.

Very informative in an interesting and easy to understand…..short video 👍living with my husband 75 year old, early stages. Now on aricept medication, having been a TeamLeader (nurse) in 16 bed unit with Alzheimer’s and related dementia unit ; I feel informed on some level.but I never planed, for « my husband to become my patient » so dealing with it is a whole new level for me, I have to remember to « always be kind » if you can’t do anything else ❤️Always be kind ! Thank you for these videos. From Nova Scotia Canada 🇨🇦

My husband is 90 and has Parkinson's Disease. He also has the "Sundown" issues. He constantly needs reminders when shaving and doing other personal care. He has incontinence and must wear special underwear. Especially at night. He sets before telling me. Is it Dementia too or just more Parkjnsons issues ? He can not pass the mental test our family doctor gives every year. He sees a Neurologist regularly.
