Can you do a video of what tools are a absolute must when first starting out for a team that has never done legend racing or anything like it. And maybe a rough off the head price point for them?

The toolbox video I have is pretty much everything I have that I need for these cars. A basic socket set and wrench set will get you far with these cars. Some zip ties and duct tape will help as well. The only special tool I’ve needed since starting with these is needing a 32mm socket for the FZ09/MT09 sprocket adapter, or a thin walled 36mm socket for the 1200/1250 adapters.

Love the content, looking to get a ledgend car in either a year or 2. Your videos always help. Can’t wait to see some more race day footage this year.

Thanks! These care are a ton of fun. We’ll get these race day videos rolling in here in may!

Great video. I have been looking into racing legend cars myself and your videos have helped a lot. I live in NC and have plenty of oval tracks to race but my main passion is road racing. Do you think it is possible to run one car for both oval and road racing and have you ever tried road racing with a legend car?

Thanks! I’m sure it’s possible to run the same car on both oval and road. It just depends on how much work you’d want to put into switching your setup each time. Some people I know have a complete separate set of shocks and control arms at the lengths they’ll use for each road and oval. I haven’t personally ran on a road course with these cars, but there’s definitely changes you would need to make to the suspension and weight.

What about food during your trips? Do you stay in hotels?
@RacingAndrewLee11 ай бұрын
We live within a couple hours of the track we race at, so we don’t typically stay at hotels for ourselves. We also get to make and bring our own food for the day since the concessions at the track cost a decent bit. Both of these are definitely something to add in your budget though if you plan on doing either of them. Since we don’t travel very often for racing, we really only analyze it on a cost-per basis

great video and love the cost breakdown. Not sure if its a good subject but maybe go over sponsorship if you have any experience with it. always looking to learn and your a great real source.

I wish I could make a video about sponsorship here, but we don’t have any unfortunately and have been doing everything out of our own pockets anyways. Maybe soon we’ll be able to make that video!
