To be honest, I need more room than this caption to explain, but Africa is not all as bad as people think. Obviously, it’s not no America, but like I said, there is beauty to be found everywhere.

How to get to heaven❤️: We've all sinned and if God gave us justice we would end up in hell but we have a way to escape this punishment because of what Jesus did on the cross: 1- Believe that Jesus is God who died on the cross for our sins and rose again 2-Know that you are a sinner in need of a saviour and can't get to heaven by doing good or by any religious works 3- Turn from sin and obey God out of love for God and truly love everyone (reading the Bible will help a lot)

Africa has 54 countries 😭😭😭. Some of them are doing better than others...please discuss the continent with the nuance it deserves.
@michellewright99
@michellewright99 Ай бұрын
I think he is trying to give props to the continent as a whole, especially since people do usually just say Africa when generalizing. People lump all the countries together and make assumptions about the continent as a whole. He's disproving that assumption about the continent as a whole in a humorous way. But also remember America has 50 states with different cultures and traditions and each state has subcultures as well, yet people overseas just see us as "Americans." I know a state isn't exactly the same as a country, but hopefully you see the correlation. We do need better understanding of the richness and complexity of the continent, but that's beyond the scope of what he's doing here. It would be cool if you see a KZbin video that breaks down some of the countries and you post a link in a reply to your own comment. Then people will have a chance to learn more. Best wishes. ❤

People really forget Africa is more than 3x the size of the United States. There’s lots of different ways of life, it’s a huge continent with over a billion people. There’s developed parts and non-developed parts, just like the rest of the world.
@SmallSpoonBrigade

Yes, and it also has literally dozens of countries with climate that goes from tropical to pretty cold in places and with deserts and jungles. Apart from the parts that are involved in active wars, there's a lot of cool stuff to do and see.

@@SmallSpoonBrigade Exactly. What I don't like is how they assume all of us in the US think this way. When it's mainly the white people....I personally don't go there for the same reason I don't go too the middle east. Too many micro wars and let's not act like the politicians are not corrupt when most of them are but not all...much like any place else but the issue is removing them from power when they are. In the states it's easier but not easy

I’m half South Africa and half Japanese. I was born and raised in Japan and didn’t know much about South Africa or Africa as a whole. I knew it wasn’t as bad as people make it out to be but I wasn’t too excited to go. Last year we went to Cape Town in South Africa and wow that city is absolutely stunning. There are really beautiful places. Honestly I’d live there. Of course there are some shabby places but it’s like that in a lot of countries not just in the continent of Africa. I do encourage others to at least make one trip to a country in Africa. You’ll have a lot of fun.

Even though I was born and raised in the USA, it's always weird to me to hear people talk about what they think of "AFRICA" as if it's a town or country. Africa is a CONTINENT that has 54 different and distinct countries on it. And it is the same as the 23 countries in North America. The USA is not the same as Barbados. Both are wonderful and terrible at the same time depending on where you go. Come to Northwest DC where I live in the US and the experience is far different than being in Southeast DC (just 10 miles away).

I've lived in Ghana for six whole years when me and my family went. It's nice to see that other people know that Africa isn't how they say it is. One time I was in class it was before I left the country. I told a girl in my class "we should go to Africa that would be so cool" and she said " no that's the worst idea ever they don't have houses there. I don't wanna get stumped by a giraffe" and still to this day I laugh when I think about the fact that she literally thought that she will get stumped by a giraffe. 😂😂😂😂

People needs to realise that Africa is a continent 3 times bigger than Europe with 50+ different countries. Some places are underdeveloped but generally speaking people there live in houses, have public services, WI-Fi (okay it depends on the place). I am currently writing that comment laid on my bed watching an anime, Kaguya Sama love is war in Burkina Faso(west Africa ) right now. I won't deny that there is extreme poverty in some countries (there are 50+ different countries, I can't know what is happening everywhere ) but the way the western media depicts us is so wrong lol, we are not cut off from the world.

Even in a city with a population of 500,000, there can be different ways of life and different stereotypes to the people that live there based on what part of town you go to. Africa is huge continent and extremely culturally diverse. two different African cultures can be as different from each other as Mexico is from Korea.

I went to Africa (South Africa) for the first time in 2019 and it was amazing. We had the most beautiful hotel and everything was so beautiful where we were. I saw some of the less wealthy areas as well but where we stayed as tourists was extremely upscale!

To be fair, it really depends on the country and area. Like... Africa is a massive continent with 54 countries. Some of them are well-developed and safe for tourists, others can be quite dangerous.

As a Nigerian I am here to help Connor understand Africa better: 0:24 um….English is the main language in Africa, sure some people don’t speak or understand it but most people do 0:40 you do know that Africa is like other countries right meaning huts are only for the rural villages or people who keep their old traditions, additionally there are people who live in mansions and big houses in Africa 0:45 oh my god, for the last time AFRICA HAS WATER!!!!! There are just some areas that are not able to access it that is all 0:54 for your information Mister! Africa has many cultures and traditions meaning there are many different kinds of food, not sure about other countries but in Nigeria we do not play about food. Almost everyone knows how to cook and we also know how to season our food well well

As a north african, we literally get asked if we're really african with the "but you don't look like it tho" on top. Everyone looks different and all regions of the african continent have unique characteristics which makes it the most diverse continent on earth
