In response to the point brought up starting at 28:25, based on what she’s saying it’s seems like clients are more focused on solving the issue at had (ie symptoms) and less on the end goal, perhaps because the symptoms are taking up more of their energy? It also might be because therapy is one of the rare spaces where you feel like you can be heard without judgement and be fully seen while there are a variety of vehicles to living our best and most fulfilled lives. What are your thoughts?

Great episode. However, our health care system is so broken, I'm mystified doctors haven't taken a more firm stance for reform or nationalization. I'm sure the AMA is in lockstep with insurers, but clearly that isn't working.
