Most peruvians will do this whenever they have guests its not that they are trying to impress but this is they way they were raised to be . You saw with the parenta and the little boy . Peruvians are very welcoming but for then to open up their home to any stranger thats an honor . Peruvians are very accepting though . So if they welcome you in like that that means tey are accepting you . Peruvians on the street also treat each other friend or sister /brother this is how we treat each other unless its a person older than us then we show respect and refer to them as Mr. or Mrs.
