What phone mount / holder for your Brompton (and regular bike)?

Thanks I am just looking at getting something like this for my Brompton. Is there a reason you didn't go for the quad lock? Only reason I ask is Brompton offer the official mount, so I assume it's a default choice for some.

Thanks, quad lock is excellent, but expensive and like my own phone case and being able to swap mount easily between bikes. But is a good mount.

Another issue with the quad lock on a brompton is you initially have to mount the phone at a diagonal, then rotate until it clicks. That means on some Brompton handle bars it will only take a maximum phone size of 167 x 76 x 9mm

I am a bit dumbfounded as to why the reviewer does not make any reference to whether this holder can be kept on when folded - the very reason for choosing a holder for a brompton. I am not the only one to comment on this, and yet no follow up

It just about fits. You have to mount it backwards so most of the phone is closer to the rider - this is so it doesn't bash the spokes when folded. Additionally it's best to push it to the left or right of centre to move it further from the spokes again since the spokes are closest to the centre of the stem when folded. All of this does increase the chance of a knee strike when turning because of the sweep of the inward facing phone. It just about works out for me, which I think, its the Brompton way!
