So, do you guys think it’s a new type or only a new tera form? Personally, I think its probably only a tera from (but I really want it to be a new type)

I don't want it to be a new type. I think a new tera form. Maybe a tera type that gives its pokemon tera protean and changes its tera type this way. So instead of having 1 tera type you can alternate mid fight. And Eevee, Kecleon, Arceus, Mew, Terapagos, Anda couple others could work

Unown coming back as omni type would be pretty cool if it's actually a new type. Maybe with terrablast as its only move instead of hidden power.

It may just be the symbol for signature Terastalising. Terastallised Terapagos might just happen to be Omnitype. Then the base is typeless with small BST to balance.

Ditto would literally be THE omni type. Castform is also an amazing pull (I really want it to get a buff in some way). Olive with the 10/10 pokemon knowledge 💯

Personally a new type midway through the generation sounds wrong and gamefreak already converted a lot of their older pokemon to fairy. I think its really hard to justify giving us a new type for 6 to 10 pokemon and almost a year after the game came out

I kinda think this new tera type is gonna be trash. I don't see anyone being able to make use of being neutral to everything over teraing into steel or poison or the og type if you wanna go offensive. As for more Omni types, Psychic was originally used to be a more godly type so any mons that got it for that reason could be shifted to omni type. I'm thinking Deoxys, Unown, and maybe the Cosmog line could also get it.

I think this new tera type will work exactly like arceus with the legend plate. Itll turn tera blast into whatever type that makes it super effective on the opponent similar to arceus’ judgement

​@@ItzJhonI don't think that's the case, in the trailer when Baxcaliber could use the omni tera blast it showed it was only effective and not super effective. I also feel like even Gamefreak would be hesitant to add what is essentially Bolt Beam coverage to every pokemon

given the theme of this gen pokemon, has to be the terra form, I doubt gamefreek wants to put that much effort into re-writting the entirety of game mechanics again
