I definitely agree with you about Leuchtturm. It's a great product, fountain pen friendly. And I agree with you that Rhodia is not so fountain pen friendly, despite the tall claims and tall price. Leuchtturm is not cheap either, so I always look to find it on offer if I can, but I can usually find some discount or other once or twice a year, and then I buy several.

Always finding the perfect planner setup, is never complete😊. As a collection book, I am planning on using that hon A6 for ink swatches, it’s perfect. On month calendar spread, each day will be a different swatch color, and daily page will have the details of the ink and each line would be a different pen combo. Likes or dislikes. On the tracker page, note which pen was used with that ink. This book is beautiful and just can’t keep it only for a year, so a collection it is… 366 inks, 366 pen options and endless of combinations. From one fountain pen and ink lover to another.

I enjoy the Dingbats notebooks for journaling. Pens and paper are like makeup…what works for one may not work for the other. 😊

Hi Lori! I think you should create a set, such as your favorite pen and design a planner that reflects your love for pens and journaling! I love journaling, but haven’t gotten into the fountain pens- mainly because I’m a messy gal when it comes to ink!!

My 2024 line up is: Sterling Ink vertical weeks for day to day schedule, Hibino for daily gratitude and inspiration quotes, PAL for personal interest tracking like books I'm reading, and things I'm learning. Thanks for sharing your line up. I took notes!

I just love your videos! Thank you, Lori! I have the B6 Aura Estelle Essential (home planner), A6 Aura Estelle Catch-All (sons memory planner), Hobonichi Weeks (EDC). My journal this year I’m trying the B6 Sterling ink grid after using Stalogy for years. That beautiful gilded edging sucked me in. We will see how it goes ❤

@@timewithtata8004 the paper is fantastic! I highly recommend trying the A6 Catch-All. I’m one of those people who like Monday starts on my weekly calendar and Sunday starts on my monthly calendar. She does that! The monthly calendar is in front of the weekly calendars too, not separated. Definitely for me!

I have a blank book that I plan on using as a journal type and a ring calendar for appointments and meetings. I also keep lined loose leaf notebook paper to write items that I feel I need to look up or order. I can toss those when I don't need them anymore. So, I guess I have three sources. Enjoyed your video.

I enjoyed your video and liked that you mentioned the Leuchtturm19. It doesn't seem to get much love and I think they are great notebooks. I have 3 and use them for various things. I semi-retired this month and purchased a Traveler's notebook to serve as a travel journal in 2024. We'll see how it goes. :) I have a Benu Euphoria and it is one of my favorite pens. I am anxious to hear what you think of the Talisman.

Platinum Carbon Black can serve you well as a utility black ink. Not only is it a dark black tone, you can color in your drawings in your personal daily with fountain pen ink without worrying about bleed past any sketch lines.

thanks for a peek at your planner plans :) After years of Happy Planner I'm taking a break and went with a spiral agenda 52 from Hobby Lobby. Struggling with not having all the versatility of adding/removing pages, ALL the stickers, etc. This will be simplified yet still pretty. I think it's just what I need right now!

Hi Lori I love your recap of your planners and LOVE the ink samples (beautiful)....I do have a pen question in my daily work I do a lot of writing along with typing and so I do love good pens lots of colors and I do consider my handwriting nice however I use a lot of ink so I’m not sure that a fountain pen would be good for what I do but do you have any recommendations for a great medium point every day pen!?

Thank you Sara! You might really enjoy a TWSBi because they have great ink capacity for someone who writes a lot. I really enjoy their medium nib. Pilot Medium nibs are great too! Pilot has pens at so many different price points. I hope this helps. Happy New Year!
