I need more information on the intermodal and the pay?
@CDLYeah3 ай бұрын
It’s very new, I’ve not heard too much myself, but I’ll get to the bottom of this for a future video 🙌🏼😎 I think it’s very specific regional routes.

Which one pays the most that's the one I want!?

Good thinking lol! It’s all about the miles and tarp pay I’d say and I may be biased, but flatbed all daayyyyyy 🤣🙋🏻♂️

That is great! Applying to Prime is a smart choice and we hire A TON of CDL holders with limited experience. Email me at dannybcrisp@gmail.com and we can see about getting you aboard over here! 😁🙌🏼

Thanks for yet another awesome video ! I’m doing extensive research on opportunities for new CDL drivers even though I haven’t started school yet 😊. I think it’s very important to see what options are available with no experience. I do not want to haul hazmat amongst some other things I’d rather not do however I plan on getting my tanker endorsement and I like that prime does not hazardous materials. Would it be hard for a new CDL driver to drive a tanker with prime ?

Great question, and you absolutely gotta do your research before deciding on a carrier to run for, there are a TON of options and some are much better than others. Prime does not haul flammable or hazmat tanker, so you’re good there. However there are only specific lanes on the tanker side, depending on your home state you might not be eligible to run tanks here. But there are plenty of refer and flatbed lanes 🥳🙌🏼🤷🏻♂️

How is the average pay for flat bed? Do they keep you pretty busy? Or is it like other KZbinrs from prime saying, they are barely getting two loads a week but that is coming from the other division .I have been trucking for 12 years, just looking into the flatbed side. You don’t hear much of any thing from flat bed as far as freight, lanes, staying busy etc. is that because flatbed actually requires work and there is not a lot of people who do it or …. lol ? But the biggest thing is consistency is what I am curious about and not having to wait around to get loaded.

These are all great questions, thanks so much for reaching out 😁🙏🏻 in my experience and in the experience of the other flatbed operators I’ve worked with here, there are plenty of consistent flatbed miles running with Prime as your broker. Plenty of lanes and dedicated shippers for specific regions if you wanted too. Now, everyone struggles to get out of Florida without taking a bath on rate, but I run on the company side so those empty miles get paid. Long story short, plenty of freight and plenty of options.
