I am 1 Day smoke-free, and I can't believe you've been helping people quit smoking longer than I've been alive. You are an inspiration, Sir.

One month free! Thank you Mr Joel. This has been my easiest quit ever! I read Allen Carr's book and once I finished it in a week, I have been reading one section from your book NTAP every day to reinforce my decision. It has been a gamechanging tool! Thank you for your service, wish you the best

I am SO glad to see this video, I always thought the same way - but try telling that to them. It's a difficult discussion to have that more often than not ends up being quite offensive and full of disappointment to the other person.

It really is common sense that cold turkey off nicotine is the only way. I'm so grateful to be free for 7 years now. This channel deserves a lot more views! Thanks again Joel 🙏

Thank you Joel. It’s been two years and I went onto antidepressants during my quit because I was/am severely depressed and I am still on them. I was using cigarettes to mask my mental health symptoms (every 20 mins)- I have no doubt that smoking was being used to mask and although, I’m not a fan of antidepressants as a whole at least I’m under the care of a therapist and GP and not using cigarettes or nicotine which only prevented me from focusing on my mental health as I was being ‘soothed’ by the 20 min Cig break. Smoking feels like a soothing technique for so many of us.

I am grateful and relieved to be nicotine free for over 10 years. I learned quickly about nicotine addiction. Freedom is where it's at. Thank you, Joel.

Do we know enough about the ill effects of vaping now? Is it really much safer or are there still things about long term use we still need to understand?

I normally don't respond to questions or comments on my KZbin videos, but because I forgot to put up the message below when I just released this I am answering this one. Here are some resources addressing your question here: whyquit.com/joels-videos/contrary-to-what-you-may-have-heard-vaping-is-not-safe/index.html joelspitzer.wordpress.com/waiting-for-zyn-and-other-nicotine-pouches-to-be-proven-dangerous-before-you-are-going-to-quit/ (covers the issue of how long it will take to find long-term dangers of any nicotine product) Important Channel Update: As of December 26, 2020 I am no longer responding to comments on any video on this channel. The video kzbin.info/www/bejne/aKDSoIaIfdF4r6M explains why I am no longer providing live online support on KZbin
