I do sometimes wish Scott would return with his role as Phone Guy. Not only would it be cool, but it would also be a proper sendoff to this character. In FNAF 3 on night 2, Phone Guy just straight up leaves without any hints to what happened to him. As for if he’s possessing a character, maybe he’s possessing the phone? It would explain to how we got that fifth phone call? 🤔🤷

I think phone guy was someone who was part of the business a long time probably high up just under the owners Afton and Henry. He knew about a lot of stuff possibly even enough to incriminate Afton. Maybe when Afton learned about the animatronics behaviour he put phone guy on the night watch to get him killed.

Fun theory but a bug problem with it: Phone Guy is distinctly not British, and in Sister Location, William Afton has a very distinct accent. Great theory though! It makes sense in a lot of ways.

I'd put my proverbial money on UCN Fredbear. Golden Freddy's jumpscare noise was heard despite all other other sounds so something Golden Freddy related did the actual deed. Remember in Fnaf 1 Golden Freddy and presumably Fredbear because UCN reveals them to be a set(you can't have one without the other unless you've got a Death Coin), Golden Freddy can enter the room despite all proven entrances being blocked. But Golden Freddy itself would be decomissioned in the backstage area by this time so Fredbear makes more sense. After all, 'There's more fantasy than fun where I come from.' A restaurant on the verge of ruin filled with broken dreams sounds like a place of fantasy but NO fun doesn't it?

I don't think Phone guy is Afton, because of a few things. 1: Afton is brittish, so he'd have an accent. 2: kinda going off the voice thing again, but since he's trapped in a spring-lock suit, his voice'd not only have the brittish accent, but also a garbled noise of sorts because of the spring-lock suit causing his lungs to fill with blood *probably* and 3: if phone guy *WAS* afton, why would he tell us how to defeat the animatronics?

Ok, here's what I think is happening. Ever wonder why Michael is able to get new jobs at Fazbear owned companies and even owns one for a week? It's because, like in FNaF 6, Michael has help. Henry is helping him get jobs since he has a pretty high status in the company and like Michael, Henry wants Afton dead, but why? Why wouldn't Henry do the dirty work instead of having Michael do it? After all, he is the co owner of Fazbear Entertainment. The answers simple: He's no longer trusted, who thought it was weird that Phone Guy was a security guard in FNaF 1 and then in FNaF 2 he wasn't a night guard, he was the manager. This wouldn't be too big on its own but then questions start coming down and it's really hard to answer them. The first main one being that the toy animatronics had a criminal database, but that's something that Afton would never allow especially if he's planning on killing kids the following week. Just think about it, even though Henry's the co founder of Fazbear Entertainment, he's not the OG founder, Afton is. The information about the criminal database the Toy Animatronics were hooked up to was not something Fazbear Entertainment was afraid to share. Basically none of this makes sense, even for FNaF standards! Then there's the questions like "Why does he hate The Puppet with a burning passion?" and "How does he know about the children inside the animatronics?" and you'll HATE the answer, you'll REALLY hate it, as much as Phone Guy hates The Puppet. So please, constructive criticism is welcome, but if you can't stand people who think that Gregory is a robot then stop reading this comment ASAP. You ready? Ok. Henry is Phone Guy. Yeah, I told you you'd hate it. Ok, so if you've seen my comments then you think you know what I'm gonna say "Phone Guy is Purple Guy, but Phone Guy ain't Afton. Why would Afton kill Charlie before The Bite of 83? Why isn't Burntrap the one luring Cassie down to the basement in Ruin (and I don't know many times I have to say it but Burntrap isn't The Mimic!!!!!)" but you'd be wrong! I have new evidence! First, we can all agree that Henry made the OG Chica. Here's the list of all the canon Chica's that are actually real (so Phantom Chica and Nightmare Chica don't count): OG Chica/Withered Chica, Toy Chica, Funtime Chica, Rockstar Chica, and Glamrock Chica. What I found so interesting about this list is that there's an odd one out, Toy Chica. She has blue/Silver Eyes, but all the other versions of Chica, the ones we know for sure Henry made, have purple eyes. Why wouldn't Toy Chica have purple eyes? It's probably some kind of detail Scott Cawthon put in FNaF 2 to separate her from the other versions of Chica, but why? As I mentioned earlier, and I have to stress this, HENRY DID NOT GIVE THE TOY ANIMATRONICS THEIR CRIMINAL DATABASE! AFTON WOULD NOT LET THAT HAPPEN!!!!!! Unless Afton did allow it, like he knew and wanted there to be a criminal database. But he's a child murderer, why would he give the Toy Animatronics a criminal database? He even gave the Withered Animatronics some of that technology. Why? Well... don't you find that it's awfully convenient that Michael who's 100% working with Henry tampered with the animatronics a week before another MCI occurred for foul odor (ouch) and tampering with the animatronics and then in FNaF 2 Phone Guy says that someone's messed with the animatronics' criminal database right before a bunch of children were murdered?😱 Also, Michael was fired in FNaF 1 for, again, tampering with the animatronics, who, as mentioned in FNaF 2, are also equipped with a criminal database right before Afton "dies"? Ok, I assume that you get an idea. In case you were wondering, this theory is way easier to explain with visuals so... I played through the games and read all the books and watched the movie and I realized that solving FNaF from the perspective that Henry is the Phone Guy (and thus the Purple Guy) only takes a few hours, while solving FNaF from the perspective that Afton is the Purple Guy took me years and there are still many, many loose ends. My point is that since the beginning of FNaF Scott Cawthon has been trying so hard to tell us the awful things Henry has done but no one's paying attention to it, we've just looked past it and it's gone unnoticed. I know my wording probably didn't make sense but it's Friday and I'm tired, but you should still get the general idea. I hope you at least enjoyed this theory!

in the first night the phone guy says " i actully worked in that office before you, and finishing up my last week now as a matter of fact." so he was in his final week recording these meassges, so he died while on the same office. i believe this is why the robots are so aggresive before killing him as they've been with him for a while. also, maybe the phone calls were actully ordered by the owners to ease the fear of the New employees (like the player) to prevent a horrifc death. The phone guy was just a nice guy helping the player in a senario where he is targeted just because of his postion. he was good and wanted to help the player to get through those mysterious robots. he didn't relaise that something was deeply wrong with them until its to late. and having his death meassge played is a sign that whoever is in charge is also very disturbing.

The Week Before's Canon Ending tells you everything... Not all the events in the book are canon, but the material within is canon, like an intruder before phone guy's demise getting stuffed, and And phone guy being a father, which adds to the tragedy. He was really just a regular guy who loved Freddy's and his kiddo, and he got met with a gruesome fate. Golden Freddy had almost nothing to do with him dying. The crew ganged up on him, and apparently that wasn't Foxy banging on the door, something happened to foxy during the confrontation..

Hello Twisted Animatronic. I have theory about HELP WANTED 2. Is the protagonist of HELP WANTED 2 dead and his soul trapped in the AR world? When we look at our character's hands after removing the mask, they are still blue. In HELP WANTED this was explained by the fact that we are in a VR game, so here, after removing the mask, there is no reason for the hands to still be blue. It's not a lot of work to put ordinary human hands there. True?

No it isnt like that, fnaf 2 place&animatronics could indeed be existing before fnaf 1 but us (mike) being there and looking for our dad and burning places one by one, it is after fnaf 1, so we burn fnaf 1 then 2 then 3 then 6. So basically the phone calls exist when we visit not when the place first existed. So even if fnaf 2 exists before 1, the game and the event of us being there as a nightguard who burns the place down, is after fnaf 1. So the phone guy is either someone else or yeah still alive as william.

And the Theory isnt true. good theory but in the new book "the week before" specificlly about the phone guy. and his name is ralph and more. you should read this book. is it even realesed yet? i dont know you shouldm check but... yeah. i canrt share my whole thoughts from this point but yeah. i would say 50/50 about whats true and what not.

maybe glitch trap controlled william and he broke out of the mind control on night 4 i mean, glitch trap can control people, so it could make sense

Phone guy can't be purple guy : William dies after breaking all 4 animatronics, while Phone Guy dies 1 week before Mike's nightshift and the animatronics are still fine
